Steinhardt Brewing, a family-owned brewery in Frederick, MD, honors old-world Bavarian and Belgian beer traditions. Founded by Jim Steinhardt, whose father immigrated from Germany in 1927, and his wife Daria, whose appreciation for these beers stems from her family's time in Germany, the brewery began in their garage in 2014. After opening a tasting room in the historic Union Mills Complex, Steinhardt expanded in 2022, tripling capacity and adding a large Biergarten.
