Owner Avery Echols began his DJ career almost by accident. His entry into the business began with managing music for a friend’s reception. At this point, Ace Wedding DJs was born. The name Arrae (pronounced [uh-rey]) came from my first initial and my middle name, Rae, added an extra r and made a new word. I spend my time fighting for equity in the interest of all marginalized groups. When asked when I first knew I wanted to be a photographer, it's hard to pinpoint a specific time, as I feel I have always had an eye for photography. From ripping up magazines, photoshoots with friends, the rise of Tumblr & Instagram, to taking a 35mm black & white film photography class in high school, going on to get my BFA in photography, and establishing my business - photography is truly in everything I do.
