Couples are often surprised by the amount of their budget spent on wedding flowers. Labor and variable wholesale costs add up quickly! To save, avoid anything that needs to be installed day-of and stick to “wear and carry.” This means the florist simply drops off the arrangements (bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, etc.) at your venue for you to place yourselves. Something like a ceremony arch, by contrast, requires multiple people to set up and take down on site, often with a service charge of up to 40%. “I used Heather for our chuppah rental for my wedding at Windham Manor. I saw her brown bark chuppah on Instagram and immediately knew I had to have it. Heather was amazing to work with and the result was absolutely stunning! I am so in love with how it turned out. She even helped me customize the wooden platform from another one of her rentals to work with our chuppah and give me the exact vision I wanted. She was also super flexible. I was slow to decide which location at the venue I wanted the ceremony at and she did not rush me at all. I ended up wanting the ceremony on the grass and the venue said the chuppah would have to be taken down the same night if we were to be allowed to do this. Of course Heather said this would be no problem at all and was immediately willing to stay and do this for us. They day of our wedding ended up being a bit crazy with on and off rain but Heather was totally calm and go with the flow while the planner worked on making the rain decision. She also attached a family tallis to the top of the chuppah and it stayed perfectly, despite the not ideal weather conditions. Highly recommend working with Heather!!!”
