My wedding coordinator Cheyenne checked in with me constantly. On my wedding day she made sure I didn’t even go 5 minutes without making sure I was ok or if I needed something. Their ENTIRE staff is amazing though. Everything was beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married.

It all started in October 2022 when Michael and I bought a house in the area. We were driving around to explore and stubbled upon Ridgecrest. I had always wanted to get married on the side of a cliff. I said wouldn't it be so cool to get married here? Right in our town? Fast forward to seeing an ad for Stroudsmoor wedding expo. I wasn't even engaged and I booked us two tickets. It was just one day before the expo, when Michael proposed. I only had one venue in mind. Ridgecrest. When I would tell people where I was getting married at, I will never forget what everyone said; "it is so pretty there and the staff take such great care of you". And oh my gosh, YES do they ever take care of you! I can have panic attacks but the staff kept me focused. I was well care for with patience and love. I learned new techniques to distract me from anxiety that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Belkis, Corinne, Kaylie, Becca, Corinne's sister and Carolyn. You ladies kept me together. At the end of wedding night, I have received nothing but positive compliments of how stunning my wedding was. It was the best wedding some guests had attended. The most beautiful. The happiest. Room was filled with love and everyone could feel it. Guests told me the food was great. So much food. So many IPA choices. Appetizers were great. Band was awesome. Venue stunning. Views of the valley gorgeous. Live painter was amazing. Hair and make-up made my girls into bombshells. A luxury deluxe wedding. I went all out for this wedding. Deciding to book it for March and hoping for snow. And sure enough, during my vows I got my a small flurry of snow. This place is magic. I would do it again and again. Wedding planning is stressful but this place made it easy with an all in one package. Hair and make up, catering, floral and decor, bakery, and lodging ALL on site!! Then just use their wedding expo to research and pick a photographer, music, transportation and officiant. And you have all the major stuff already done! The next day after my wedding I did not have a feeling of let down. I was on cloud 9. And I told Michael, this place can just take my money again and again.

Amazing!!!!! We had our wedding at Deity on June 21, 2024. We are not exaggerating when we say it exceeded our wildest dreams. We chose Deity because we wanted a very Brooklyn vibe to our whole day, and you just can’t beat this space: the exposed brick, the lighting, the vintage feel of the bridal suite, the speakeasy-like atmosphere of the cellar, and the gorgeous building were exactly what we wanted. And then we met the staff. We could write a book about the people who work and run Deity; they made our day. Anna and Caio radiate love of love, and they are clearly committed to making weddings magical. We were so calm on the day of our wedding thanks to them. Every single person on the staff was thoughtful, personable, kind, and professional. The guests raved about the staff, the food (the food!!! Omg delicious!), the space, the DJ (Ben was awesome!), and the bartenders. Our wedding felt seamless and we actually got to enjoy every moment. We’d say the bridal suite is a must; it’s gorgeous and it added so much to the day to get ready there and have a first look. We faced a heat wave, so we barely used the rooftop, but it was lovely to go up there for photos. We did a tasting of the food beforehand and were so impressed, and it tasted even better day-of. The chef also surprised us with an epic cheese and fruit platter in addition to the appetizers during cocktail hour, and our guests loved it. Anna, the day-of coordinator, and Anastasia both took really good care of us. They built in moments for us to have alone time, helped us with our clothes and belongings, and kept everything moving smoothly. The pricing, as advertised, is transparent and there are no hidden fees. It was a really affordable wedding for New York and for us, and we appreciated that we were able to budget for it from the start with no surprises. We’d get married here 100 more times if we could, it was that good! Thank you, Deity, for an unforgettable experience. You are all in our hearts forever.

We had our wedding at the Milestone Mansion on 10/31/2025. The venue is amazing and beautiful. From the moment we toured it, we knew that we wanted to book there. They have both outdoor options for a ceremony as well as an indoor option. We held our ceremony outdoor, down by the gazebo. Then our cocktail hour on the patio, and reception in the ballroom. It was the perfect day. The staff on day of was spectacular, and have heard nothing but good days. We worked with Melissa throughout our planning process and she was great. Was always able to answer questions and accommodating. We added on the day of coordination and had Melissa run our day. Would highly recommend anyone to do that. She took care of all the nitty gritty and we got to enjoy our day completely. It is very apparent that Melissa loves what she does and is very passionate about it. We are not aware of any issues or things that came up, and we have to believe its because she handled everything. She set up our decor and ran our timeline for us. They offer multiple all inclusive packages that can fit anyone's needs, as well as add-on features. I think they are able to fit what anyone is looking for, as they are accommodating and flexible. We switched out one of ours beers in our bar package for a seltzer, and that was a hit. The food was delicious and the bartenders provided great service for our guests.

I truly mean it when I say our wedding was the best day of my life so far. Julia D was an amazing coordinator. She was so supportive and put all of our worries at ease, especially as we were coming from across the country week of for the wedding. From day one touring the venue a year and a half ago to just two months ago on the day of- the entire staff was so supportive and responsive. Week of they were all hands on deck and we felt prioritized and heard. Day of was absolutely magical. Julia made it all come together seamlessly with the help of the amazing crew. The food, kindness of the staff, beauty of the venue and the magic in all of the behind the scenes that made all our dreams come true truly made our wedding so special to us. Founded in 1814, The West Boylston Company was a large textile manufacturer in West Boylston, MA. At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. From the very first tour until the last moments of our wedding celebrations, the Boylston Rooms went above and beyond our expectations for a wedding venue. Erin and Myles were phenomenal to work with throughout our planning process, and they made the entire experience seamless. Erin's kindness and compassion as we worked through a last minute family illness was incredible. Myles' preparation for anything and everything helped make us feel calm and supported throughout our day. We also ended our day with Alli who helped ensure our guests were shuttled safely back to the hotel and our belongings were gathered to help us end our day with everything we needed. Our guests RAVED about how beautiful the space was. There aren't enough words to describe how grateful we are to have chosen the Boylston Rooms for our special day. We absolutely loved our wedding at The Sanctuary! We initially worked with Amelia and then with Arthur and Kat towards the end of our planning process. Every contact at The Sanctuary was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the space, especially having multiple different areas for guests to enjoy (the chapel for dancing/desserts, the tent for dinner/conversation, and the outdoor patio for smores!) and the beautiful NYC skyline in the background. The bridal suite where we all got ready was spacious and comfortable. I was a little nervous about the temperature in the tent during a November wedding, but it was very comfortable! We will always be grateful to The Sanctuary for our beautiful wedding!

Donauschwaben's German-American Cultural Center was the perfect venue for our daughter & son-in-law’s wedding. The location to the airport, highway and hotel were ideal. Their property provided plenty of parking. The wedding was outside on a 92 day and was flawless. It was hot, but the trees were in the perfect position to shade the entire patio. The entire staff was amazing. The reception space was transformed into a beautiful space for our special celebration. Our family and friends shared with us how delicious the appetizers, meal and “aftertizers” of the homemade pretzels. Christine the Event Manager went above and beyond and made sure the day was special for everyone. She answered all of my questions, even up to the last minute. We were so impressed with how many times Christine checked in with us to make sure we were happy. We highly recommend Donauschwaben’s German-American Cultural Center.

We had a beautiful Fall wedding at Green Acres, made possible through the expert hands of Megan. The event space is beautiful all on its own, including an updated bridal suite, charming rustic barn details and sprawling grounds for extended outdoor space. Leading up to the big day, Megan made sure we stayed on schedule and offered invaluable advice and suggestions. The wedding day felt like everything was just taken care of. She worked with all our vendors and coordinated everything seamlessly. If I had the opportunity to do the day all over again, I would certainly come back to this venue and work with Megan again. I would probably be less nervous, though… knowing everything was truly taken care of.

The Oviatt Penthouse is a ridiculously unique venue. The outdoor patios are amazing- perfect for the ceremony, dinner and dancing. We had a band and it was perfect. The views are insane. The bridal suite is the original owner's bedroom- all w/ original furniture. Gorgeous. The staff were AMAZING. Super cool, down to earth, normal people who are great at their jobs. We are so beyond happy we went with this venue.

From the moment we stepped into Watson Block we just knew it was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. If your vibe is intimate, romantic, old world charm this is your spot. Pictures don’t do it justice and it’s so beautiful you truly need very little to make it your own. Gaby was incredible for the entire planning process all the way through to our big day. We did almost everything ourselves- including creating an arch to be married under, to signage, to table decor, even our own wedding flowers. Gaby answered every question with ease and was incredible at assuaging my nerves. She and her team set things up perfectly from the ceremony to the switch for dinner and then dancing. I often questioned if we needed a day of coordinator and was so happy I didn’t waste my money on one because it wasn’t needed. I never knew a day could be as truly magical as our wedding was and a huge part of that was how much we loved our venue. I would happily suggest it to anyone asking. The other huge bonus is it was truly one of if not the best value for venues in the twin cities. This gem will continue to gain notoriety as an incredible venue for years to come!!

Got married at Simple Affair this June and everything was wonderful from start to finish! From the very first visit before securing the date, the staff was very informative and helpful. Maddy, our event coordinator, was so responsive and attentive to any and all questions we had throughout the planning process. The day of, the team that was working was very helpful as well and adjusted to even the smallest last minute changes we made to our timeline and the different adjustments we made to the flow of the reception. I could not recommend this venue enough! They have so many different options and can as involved and all inclusive or as hands off as you would like them to be, it’s really very personalizable and we couldn’t have picked a better option! Another great benefit is that if you are a DIY bride, they are so adaptable to your vision and can help assist in bringing your Pinterest board to life. The space of the venue really is so big it’s amazing how well you can decorate the space and still have room for a big dance floor. One specific thing we loved about this venue and a big reason we went with them was the possibility of bringing in your own food to better fit your vision. Having specific kinds of food was very important to us because we had a particular vision and we were able to achieve that here! Flagstaff House was incredible! They were such a great venue. Annie was our event planner, and she was perfect - professional, friendly, and so helpful helping everything run smoothly day of. The venue itself was beautiful and did a great job helping us plan for any weather scenario. The food was INCREDIBLE - each of the dishes were delicious and the cake was just as beautiful as it was delicious. It ended up being a surprisingly budget friendly option as well - although the price for food is higher than most places, the fact that the restaurant provided everything needed for the lunch including custom menus, the cake, and all of the linens/chairs/tables/table numbers/etc. meant that the total price ended up being a great value.

My husband and I got married at Saphire Estate on 5/31/25 and we had an amazing experience! The Saphire Event Group takes care of so much to help make wedding planning easier on the couple. Our event producer Kayla was fantastic, always answering my many emails with questions in a timely manner. She was also fantastic day of and we couldn't be more grateful! It was so easy working with Saphire, and the venue is beautiful. They even set up all of our decor for us, which made things so easy the day of. They supported us throughout the planning process as well. The food is incredible and all of our guests continue to comment about it. The venue has many great photo spots and everything was perfect! We can't recommend the Saphire Estate and Saphire Event Group enough!

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
