Maya Moves - Wedding Dance Lessons

Maya Moves was created for the couples who can handle learning a few moves, but don't want to spend time & money on multiple lessons. The 1 hour lesson starts by reviewing details about your wedding. The recommended length for the dance is short, 1:30-2m. Then, you will learn how to stand comfortably together & 3-4 signature moves (typically a dip, and other moves that fit the vibe of your song). You won't learn traditional moves, like the box step or the waltz, but rather easy moves that beginner dancers can look good doing. Maya Moves offers private wedding lessons, both in NYC and over Zoom.

Maya's method is geared towards non-dancers- this is supposed to look like you're just dancing in your living room. Instead of going the traditional route, this is the easiest solution to learning a first dance, without the added pressure of an entire performance.
