Do you have a minimum spend for weddings?

We do not have a minimum for weddings, and are here to help coordinate a wedding you are looking to host no matter the size. Please note that weddings over 150 people have an average minimum spend of $5,000+ and installations of any kind have a starting minimum spend of $6000+. But if your design only includes personal florals or a few centerpieces, we can certainly get creative to propose some ideas that would fit within your budget.

Question 2

Do you handle flower breakdown after the ceremony?

Yes, we will be back at the end of the night to collect all our candle holders and vases those are property of Davidson Designs, but the flowers are yours to keep! Rather than send florals to a compost pile, we love to give them away to family and guests that may have attended and any remaining to the awesome vendors that participated in your special day as a thank you for all their hard work!

Can you provide any decor other than flowers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We include all candles, candle holders, and lanterns needed to design a comprehensive tablescape - at no additional charge. If you are looking for larger items for rentals, we would be happy to recommend some vendors to provide the arbors, chandeliers or otherwise that you may want your florals designed on. Should you like specialty colored taper candles, we would request that you would provide them to ensure they are the exact color you are requesting.

Question 4

What should we expect at our consultation? Do we need to bring anything?

Accepted Answer

We are so excited to meet with you and would be happy to meet in person or by Zoom! Please come prepared with specifics of your day including budget, venue, and vendors. Any additional details you have including inspiration photos, color palette, a pinterest board are all encouraged. The more information you can share, the better we will understand your event plans. After our chat, you'll be emailed a detailed proposal with a total price within one week.

What is the best way to re-purpose flowers on my wedding day?

Accepted Answer

For the most part we discourage repurposing unless logistically it checks out. Out of consideration for all your vendors and guests, we need to ensure repurposing gives the photographer enough time to take photos of the space fully set, doesn't interfere with the guest experience by allowing them to see any breakdown, and reusing the flowers adds value to the overall look. Our favorite option is to design the rehearsal dinner to be repurposed as an abundance of florals at your reception. Davidson Designs only utilizes florals we created and will not combine another florists designs to achieve this look.
