Michelle Maslowski
Michelle started her career as a lawyer, but could not resist the pull of her family’s legacy—flowers! A third-generation florist, some of her earliest childhood memories include processing flowers at her grandmother’s shop in northern Indiana. She grew her love of flowers working along side her mom in creating amazing wedding florals for couples all over Indiana. Ask her and she will tell you that she was trained by the best! She brings her passion and years of experience in this art to the Owner/Creative Director role for One of a Kind Events.

Do Not Use
Beware: The proposal was impressive, but the execution was extremely disappointing. Communication was unreliable—she claimed not to receive emails and had to be reminded to send promised bouquet photos before the wedding. She made only 3 bridesmaid bouquets instead of 4 initially, worked alone, and was still setting up as guests arrived. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional on the day of my wedding, and the décor did not match what was discussed (mismatched candles, messy centerpieces, no floral foam). I truly wish I had chosen a different florist.
AMAZING!!
Michelle is amazing. She did our month of planning and could not have been better. She did all of the last minute coordination and the day went off without a hitch. I can’t recommend her enough. One of a kind also did our flowers and they were beautiful. They captured exactly what I wanted and weee so easy to work with.
