K. Ja'Bre Artistry is a special event and wedding hair and makeup business in Hampton, Virginia. Established by K. Ja’Bre in 2017 (originally known as The Beautie Comapny), K. Ja’Bre Artistry aims to make every client look and feel their best. K. Ja'Bre Artistry offers an extensive selection of á la carte services to couples preparing for their wedding. Hair and makeup previews can be arranged to discuss preferences and test potential looks for the big day.

ASAP! It may be a smaller detail but its vital to feel your best without stress on your big day. If you know you have a popular date, those tend to book up to 1 and a half in advance. Most can get away with 9 months to a year in advance. If you have previews, schedule them 4-8 weeks before the wedding! Closer to date helps in keeping the memory fresh in any changes from the preview!

Technically - no BUT highly recommended to ensure your vision for your big day!

We require a retainer of 40% of your total amount with taxes, travel & applicable fees. Final payments are due 21 days prior to your wedding day.

The times can vary depending on requests and additional factors. Average time for makeup is 45 mins per person in the tribe and about an hour and 15 mins for the Bride! Hair averages the same dependent on the length and thickness.

Yes! Natural lash applications are included in all makeup looks. We also have luxe & minx lashes available for upgrades!

Yes we do, but we have a team of contractors and never double book your artist! So your artist will never have to go to another wedding after yours - your day is your day!

Yes we do. Weddings within a 30 mile radius of Hampton, VA incur a $30 travel fee per artist. Any additional milage over 30 will be charged at the rate of $1.25 per mile per artist.

Loved having her for my wedding! Our party included many different hair textures and skin tones, no one felt left out! She also took care of my mom and mother in-law law. We were busy that morning with so many people but she made it work, she brought YoWanda to help and she was great! I would highly recommend Kayla, she was professional, easy to talk to, and answered any questions we had leading up to the big day.

Kayla and her team at K. Ja'Bre Artistry, LLC were absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding day! Their communication was quick, accommodating, and friendly from the very beginning. The quality of their work was simply outstanding - they are a truly talented and dedicated team. Kayla and her team went above and beyond our expectations for hair and makeup, and we had so much fun with them throughout the process.
