Hi there! I’m Jacquee. I am a licensed esthetician and freelance makeup artist. I was trained in makeup artistry and hair design at Make Up First in Chicago. My esthetics training was completed at the Universal Spa Training Academy in Downers Grove. So now that we’ve got that out of the way let’s talk about what I can help you with! I’m well versed in all areas of makeup from beauty and bridal to commercial, theatrical, and even special effects. I’m just as comfortable working on a film set as I am working with my brides. I enjoy making people feel good about themselves and I put my all into everything I do.

I am a small business that only accepts one wedding per day. You will get personal attention. I work every wedding myself and only hire same level artists to accompany me. You will never get students or apprentice artists when you hire me.

    Jacquee did a wonderful job, and she was very patient with the different styles I was considering at the trial. I only booked her for my hair for the Bride and 3 other people. The results were wonderful and everyone really liked their hair. It also lasted all day, and she even prepared a goodie bag to make sure the hair lasted even through the dancing!!

    Makeup By Jacquee was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day! Her communication style is clear, helpful, professional, and lovely.     I hired Jacquee to be my wedding makeup artist for several reasons. I typically don't wear makeup and I am pale, so I wasn't sure what I was looking for. I really appreciated that Jacquee offered makeup trials without having to put a deposit down first. Jacquee and I scheduled my trial for a Friday night and she never made me feel like she was in a rush or would rather be somewhere else. We got to know each other, she talked me through her processes, and if it ever seemed like I was wavering on something, she would ask me if I would like to try another option. She took thorough notes so she could refer back to them on wedding day. Leading up to my wedding, she was on it! She took the time to create the schedule for my wedding party to get their makeup done and took the liberty of creating this for the hair stylists as well. On the day of my wedding she and her secondary artist were punctual and prepared. I felt like my makeup stayed on point throughout the day and evening, but Jacquee also gave me a cute little touch up bag just in case. When I look at my weddibg photos, I feel like Jacquee helped me put my best self forward for my special day. Thank you, Jacquee!
