    PLEASE BEWARE. I have been trying to contact this place to schedule my wedding trial hair and make up for a month without response. I have emailed, called, and even gone to the address posted — there is nothing at the address. My wedding is now two months away and I have had no response despite my multiple attempts. I am now seeking a new hair and make up artist urgently. Mind you, Chelsea was very quick to respond when booking me, sending my contract, and receiving my payment in full. I am currently seeking all avenues to receiving my money back.

    Unfortunately, we are having to cancel our contract with VAMP Beauty less than two months before our wedding due to their failure to uphold our contract. I reached out to them four times over the course of a month, and they failed to respond to outreach or schedule a trial appointment. During this time, my VAMP Beauty client portal has been deactivated, and I am no longer able to view my past invoices, contract, or upcoming payment details. Additionally, it has come to my attention that, according to the Oregon Health Licensing Office, both their esthetician (inactive June 2024) and cosmetology (dormant August 2020) licenses have lapsed or become inactive. It was not an easy decision to cancel my hair and makeup artist less than 8 weeks from my wedding, but after multiple recent negative reviews regarding unprofessionalism (in the last 3 months) and the challenges I have been facing with their poor communication, we were left with no other choice. I reached out to them one final time one week ago, requesting to cancel my contract and seeking a refund for the 800 I have already paid due to their failure to provide services. Everyone I spoke to about the situation (wedding planners, other vendors, friends, family) agreed that it was rife with red flags and that this company cannot be trusted. Since that final email, I have only received one short message trying to schedule my trial a month late and with no acknowledgement of my other messages. I do not post this review lightly, but I would hate for another bride to be put in this terrible situation. Hopefully these issues do not persist and that other brides are able to enjoy their services, but I cannot in good conscience recommend VAMP Beauty in any circumstances.

    While the makeup artists at VAMP Beauty are clearly talented, our experience with them was unfortunately quite disappointing. From the very beginning, their communication was lacking - they were often slow to respond to messages and seemed quite reserved during our interactions. On the day of the wedding, this lack of organization was evident, as they fell behind schedule and made us feel rushed during the bridal makeup application. That said, the final makeup look was beautiful, and our bridal party all looked stunning. If VAMP Beauty can improve their customer service and organizational skills, they have the potential to be a great option for wedding beauty services. But as it stands, the quality of their work was not enough to make up for the frustrations we experienced throughout the process.

    Chelsea and her team were absolutely amazing and exceeded all my expectations! They were so easy to work with throughout the whole process and so kind. I felt like Chelsea completely understood what I wanted during my trial and on my wedding day and executed perfectly. I felt like myself but elevated which is exactly what I asked for; the makeup and hair turned out so beautiful! She made me feel very calm and relaxed at my wedding and they stayed ahead of schedule the whole day. Would highly recommend!!!
