I became a wedding officiant in 2023 because I believe ceremonies should be anything but boring. This is the moment two people declare their love, it should be heartfelt, engaging, and unapologetically YOU. My ceremonies are so personal and memorable that guests often ask, “How long have you known Emerald?” From emotional vows to inside jokes, first-date stories, flower-grandmas, and even that one uncle’s pill alarm going off mid-ceremony, we’ll work together to and make sure your ceremony is one of the most memorable parts of your big day!

Emerald Elegance Wedding Ceremonies deserves all the accolades! Emerald is the utmost professional, bringing kindness and enthusiasm every step of the way. She was so well organized, quick to propose helpful suggestions for the ceremony, considered aspects of the ceremony we didn’t even think of, and truly guided us through the process (even the marriage license process - which is the biggest wedding day to-do haha). My husband and I had our wedding this past Halloween and admittedly were behind on our vendor search. We were so grateful when Emerald was available to officiate our wedding on just a few weeks notice. She crafted the most beautiful and perfect ceremony - my partner and I were both in tears just in the zoom meeting. The day of, Emerald took control and guided the ceremony effortlessly. She made sure to allow us a moment to take in the view of all our loved ones during the ceremony, made sure to make our guests a part of the vows and walked us through our responses. I cannot sing her praises enough - and our guests all absolutely raved about Emerald all throughout the day and evening. Do not hesitate to book Emerald!! Perfect for Nigerian wedding
Emerald made our Nigerian elopement unforgettable. She took the time to understand our story and honored the memories of my late father and grandmother so beautifully. Her words were comforting, powerful, and meaningful. From our very first conversation she listened, really listened, to the details about how my husband and I met, the values we wanted to hold in our marriage, and the elements we hoped to include in the ceremony. I love how she even incorporated details that reflected my husband’s Nigerian roots. I’ve been to many weddings before, which are often long, drawn out, and not truly about the couple as they all tend to sound the same, but this ceremony was different. It was personal, heartfelt, and rich with the traditional elements of marriage. Emerald was very friendly, professional, and genuine throughout the entire process. I would gladly recommend her to anyone who wants a ceremony filled with meaning and authenticity.
