Hi! I’m Brittany, an LGBTQ+ inclusive wedding officiant based in Youngstown, Ohio, creating prismatic ceremonies for couples of all backgrounds and identities in Northeast Ohio. Whether you’re planning a vibrant celebration, cozy elopement, or modern micro wedding, I bring heart, humor, and custom scripts to make your day unforgettable. I chose to be ordained by American Marriage Ministries because of their mission to support equal access to marriage. I am a safe space for queer couples navigating the wedding industry.

I'll sound like your best friend, not a robot. I write and deliver ceremonies that are warm, funny, personal, and never stiff or awkward. I will probably cry during your vows. I care deeply about making your day special and stress-free. My language, ceremony structure, and packages are intentionally inclusive of queer couples and diverse family structures. Affirming by design, not by default. I celebrate love in all its cozy, creative, and deeply personal forms.

For couples who want a ceremony that tells their story with intention and warmth and built just for them. This includes my signature Rule Breakers Method and a script that reflects your story, personalities, and values without filler or fluff. Rehearsal +$100 On-site run-through of entrances, exits, spacing, timing, procession, family/guest involvement, readings, ritual practice, and ceremony flow. 80 miles round-trip travel included.

Marriage License Signing

Description

A legal-only appointment. About ten minutes. Perfect for couples who want the ceremony later or prefer to handle the legal piece quietly. Details: We meet at one of my designated locations☕️ No guests, no vows, no rings I’ll cover the legally required words, sign your license, and file it with the court. It’s short, legal, and accessible.

    Choosing Officiant Brittany Wasson was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. From the start, Brittany's communication style was clear, calming, and personable, which put me at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was incredibly detail-oriented, professional, and intuitive, always offering solutions whenever I felt overwhelmed. Brittany was punctual, prepared, and helped me make clear decisions for the ceremony I wanted. My wedding day would not have been as magical and smooth sailing if Brittany wasn't there. As a bride, I was excited, nervous, and at times, overwhelmed, but Brittany's level-headed and compassionate approach made the experience truly special.     Brittany was the very best choice I made for my wedding!! She has a talent for understanding your vision and making it come to life (while honoring your budget!) She did all the leg work finding and haggling with vendors and made it so I could plan my wedding from another state, and work full time, without feeling overwhelmed by wedding planning. I may have been the least stressed bride on the planet!! She did a great job communicating with me and keeping my nerves in check and the way she managed the days events left me to enjoy just being a bride! 10 out of 10! She's a thrifty queen's dream come true!
