I believe every couple deserves to feel guided by a seasoned professional on their wedding day. I also believe your officiant should feel like a natural part of the day. Warm, familiar, and completely at home within the celebration of your story. My goal is to fit seamlessly into each wedding, sharing your love story with clarity, romance, and just the right amount of humor for the people who matter most. I have another talented officiant on my team, Ren, doubling our availability!
We approach every ceremony with the belief that your love story deserves to be told with intention, heart, and a level of care that goes far beyond simply showing up to read words on a page. We build a natural connection with our couples right away, which allows us to write a ceremony that feels deeply personal rather than generic. Our experience on wedding days allows us to anticipate the natural rhythm of the day. We keep an eye out for pacing, timing, and any small gaps that might need a gentle hand so everything flows smoothly. The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding
I've dreamt of my wedding day for years, and thanks to The Marrying Jane (Chelsea), our ceremony was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Hiring her was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Chelsea is the perfect blend of professional, kind, thoughtful, and intentional. She truly took the time to get to know us, and that dedication shone through in every word of the ceremony. We had countless family members and friends ask us if she was a close friend of ours because of how deeply personal the ceremony felt. Everyone complimented her delivery and the beautiful atmosphere she created. Some of the highest praise, though, came from my grandpa. He was initially skeptical of a non-church ceremony, but he was completely pleased with Chelsea's ability to make our ceremony feel rooted in faith and deeply meaningful. Our dream wedding cermony come true
From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, my husband and I knew that our ceremony would be the most meaningful part of our day. We wanted it to be deeply personal. Something that reflected our love story and honored our spiritual backgrounds in a unique, nontraditional way. When we met Chelsea for our introductory call, it took no more than a few minutes to realize she was the perfect person to officiate our wedding. She listened attentively to everything we envisioned and, more importantly, we felt an instant connection. It’s rare to meet someone for the first time and feel like you’ve known them forever, but that’s exactly how it felt with Chelsea. We trusted her completely and choosing her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Working with Chelsea was effortless. The first draft of our ceremony script was beautifully written and thoughtfully structured. We were genuinely blown away. It captured everything we hoped for and required almost no edits. After our wedding ceremony, countless guests came up to us saying it was the most moving and memorable ceremony they had ever witnessed. That’s all thanks to Chelsea. My husband and I eloped in 2023, having Chelsea as our officiant was the best decision we could have made! It was us, our baby, the dog, Chelsea and the photographer… Her presence made it feel like we had one of our good friends marrying us! Her thoughtful planning, incredible words and little moments like holding our baby so we could get some great solo shots, we’re all so meaningful. Chelsea goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and she is absolutely up for any adventure! 10/10 would recommend Chelsea!!!!

We could not have asked for a better officiant for our wedding. From the very beginning, Chelsea took the time to meet us in person and truly get to know our story. After that, she crafted a beautiful ceremony personalized to us, and was patient and receptive to our (very minimal) feedback, making the whole process easy and stress-free. Her professionalism was clear through every step of the process- in her communications, her outfits/appearance, and in how she facilitated our rehearsal, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and prepared. On the wedding day, she delivered our ceremony with confidence, care, and conviction—it was heartfelt, sincere, funny, and everything we ever hoped it would be. We’ve received countless compliments from our guests saying it was the best ceremony they’ve ever attended, which is a true testament to Chelsea’s talent.
