We are wedding officiants who believe that every ceremony should be personal, memorable, and enjoyable! We want our couples to feel confident and comfortable during their wedding ceremony, so we'll ask lots of questions and plan everything out to reflect their values and personalities. Maybe you want a short and sweet ceremony that makes you laugh? We can do that! Or maybe you'd prefer a longer and more sentimental ceremony, that includes things like symbolic unity features, religious elements, and special readings from family members. We can do that, too! Our goal is to make your ceremony about YOU.

We don't really do "cookie-cutter" ceremonies... Each ceremony is planned specifically for that couple. That means asking lots of questions about what kind of things you like, and don't like. It means that the only thing we "require" every couple to include in their ceremony is saying "I do"; we think that any other aspects of the ceremony should only be included if they resonate with the couple. We are happy to include traditions, if the couple wants them... but we also love taking those same traditions and turning them sideways or inside out, to make them more meaningful and fun!

Classic Ceremony

Description

A ceremony that will feel familiar to most couples and their guests. It usually lasts from 20 to 30 minutes, depending what options the couple chooses to include. This type of ceremony often utilizes some prewritten material, but everything is fully customized to the couple.

"Just the paperwork" elopement

Description

We like to call this our "drive-through" service! Just the legally required questions and documents - and just a few minutes of your time, it's very much like going to the courthouse. Pick a time and location of your choosing like a coffee shop or a park. No set up or tear down, and no guests to feed!

Quick & Basic Ceremony

Description

This is a VERY streamlined ceremony, for use in a seated-venue setting. From start-to-finish, this ceremony lasts between 5 and 10 minutes. It's more structured than an elopement, but doesn't allow for much customization (think "insert name here").

Description

Fully-themed weddings or extensively bilingual ceremonies - a one-of-a-kind experience, designed to fit your unique story! Fully customized vows, unique unity features, whatever you want! It's your love story, told your way. Examples of themed ceremonies we have performed: - the Legend of Zelda - Game of Thrones - Metallica - Star Wars - Lord of the Rings - Pokemon - Harry Potter Languages we have performed ceremonies in: - French - Spanish - German - Russian

Owner Atonn has officiated over 500 weddings since 2013. He established Weddings for the Ages in 2018, when he began hiring and training other officiants to create personal, memorable, and enjoyable wedding ceremonies.

Our team has officiated hundreds of weddings, from short and sweet elopements to full traditional ceremonies. At last count, we have married more than 500 couples!

Absolutely. Every ceremony is created by our officiants to reflect the couple's personality, their beliefs and values, and desired length. The mood and content of the ceremony are flexible, and the only things that HAVE to be included are "I do" and "I now pronounce you..."

Yes, we will attend and run rehearsals. The cost of the Classic package and the Premiere package include a rehearsal. The Quick and Basic package does not include a rehearsal by default, but one can be added for a $75 fee.

Yes! We have officiated many ceremonies that are "just for show", when a couple is already married. We also perform Vow Renewal ceremonies, for couples who've been together for a while, and want to celebrate their commitment in a special way.

We do not require premarital counseling. Counseling is available, if desired, through both non-religious and religious programs.

It depends on where you live and where you are getting married! If either of you is a resident of Ohio and the ceremony will take place in Ohio, you get your license at your local county probate court; you can get it up to 60 days before the wedding. If you are a resident of Ohio but are getting married in another state, you get the marriage license in the county probate court wherever the ceremony will be held. If you're not sure, ask your officiant!
