I could give you my spill about how I started shooting with a film Minolta in middle school and that it tugged my heart so deeply I never set the camera down. But I would rather share with you what I love. What I enjoy. What I'm about. I have a passionate soul. I get way too excited too easily. I smile at just about anything. I'm terrible with names. I'm a retired certified public accountant. I'm allergic to dogs. I own WAY too many shoes. I want a tattoo of a vintage camera. I love what I do so much it takes my breath away. This is me. The real me. Not the "fake, I hope I sold you" me. Now let's see if we can make this thing work.

I catch myself so many times wishing life away and I have to force myself to stop. Take it all in. To not lose site of the little things that make this life worth living. That's why I love photography. Because those little things that you never want to forget become a permanent memory. You know what happens when you look at a photograph? Your mind is immediately reminded of the moments that happened before and after that snapshot along with the emotions you were feeling. That one photograph preserves that moment forever.

Amanda hosted a photoshoot with us prior to our wedding, and she made it unbelievably comfortable. It was a new location for her, and I personally was worried it wouldn't be spacious enough, but Amanda made some absolute amazing photos. The composition, the editing, she killed it. And of course, I wanted these photos to be just right to print for a photo book - and she stayed incredibly patient as I fumbled around my photo selections until they were organized just the way I wanted. When it came to the wedding, she was already prepared for a changing timeline, animals, and all the details. She made sure to capture the handful of specific photos I wanted to recreate and used her creativity to capture the rest of a beautiful wedding day! She even got sneak peak photos completed while she ate her dinner at the wedding - who does that?! Her professionalism and kindness it top of the line!

One thing I loved so much were your excitement and reaction for every little thing. From your flatlay sneak peak to seeing your bouquet for the first time to seeing your reception set up to seeing Hunter for the first time... it was all SO precious. Then watching how much he lit up when he was with you is an all time favorite for me. It was so apparent how much you are his person and he is yours. Can I give 10 stars? Look no further for your photographer because Amanda is absolutely incredible!! She is the best of the best! My husband & I first met Amanda when she photographed my sister’s wedding in Tennessee in 2023. She was so kind & friendly, plus the pictures she took spoke for themselves! Although we weren’t engaged at that time nor did we live there, we just KNEW we had to have Amanda as our photographer if she traveled! (Spoiler alert: she does!) She traveled to Colorado for an absolutely breathtaking engagement photo session & then to Cape Cod to capture our dream wedding! Our wedding day was absolutely amazing & Amanda played such a huge part in that. She’s so easy to get along with & even if it’s a new venue, she is so great at finding the best spots for the best pictures with the best lighting. The love and genuine care she has for what she does and her clients is so evident! She’s your go-to hype girl behind the camera, which as a bride on a day where you may feel a little nervous (in the best way), is so refreshing! We truly cannot thank Amanda enough for being part of our special day & capturing our love in such a way that helps us relive the best day over & over again!
