Almost 20 years of experience and I still get as excited as I did when I first started photographing events! I got my BFA in photojournalism at Rochester Institute of Technology and my common sense from a well-lived, full life. From intimate weekday elopements to full scale destination events that require a team of photographers, I have done it all. I focus on telling the most full and vibrant story of your event, so you can look back and feel like you didn't missed a thing.

I'm like your favorite Aunt who is an absolute bad ass with a camera, who can also be a fly on the wall or take charge if needed. You will feel so cared for during your day and able to be fully present for every moment. I am a mother of two kind souls which gives me the perspective of your parents, which helps me see and feel all of the things. Inclusivity, joy and light fuel my fire. Perfect elopement photographer

Carla was the best photographer we could’ve ever had for our elopement, she made the day so special. My husband and I wanted to elope and didn’t know how to plan a wedding this way, and she walked us through the whole planning process, giving amazing recommendations for hair/makeup, location, officiant, hotel, etc. Everything recommended by her was perfect and any planning questions we had she was always there to answer. The day of the wedding she was with us from getting ready at the Goodwin Hotel, our first look outside the hotel, our wedding at the gorgeous Hartford City Hall, and then more pictures after at Elizabeth Park Rose Garden. Since we had no family or friends at the elopement with us, her energy and passion throughout the day was so wonderful and made the day even more exciting. It felt so special to have her with us that day. And the final result was a masterpiece. Not only were the photos she took phenomenal, but she was able to get them all back to us so fast, since she knew we wanted the photos before we had our wedding celebration with family. It’s been over 3 months now and I still look at these pictures everyday and am always in awe at how beautiful they came out. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone who wants a beautiful person who produces beautiful photos for their wedding.

Carla was an absolute joy to work with as our wedding photographer! She was incredibly generous with her time and made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. She has an amazing eye for finding unique and beautiful shots. Some of our favorite photographs were from scenes she improvised on the spot, compositions we truly needed help from a keen eye to find. Carla delivered sneak peek photos quickly, and we were truly blown away by the results. We feel so lucky to have had her document our day!

A camera can pick up the visual attraction of a moment, but most times it feels impossible to relive the actual energy of that place in time. Carla - is the absolute key to capturing every ounce of that magical energy. My wedding day was truly the most remarkable day of my life, and every single picture Carla took brings me back to that exact moment in a way I never thought a photo could do. Not only is she a visual genius - but she set the tone for the entire day. Some people in the bridal party who HATE having their picture taken, had so much fun they didn’t even realize they were having a “photo shoot”. Her attention to timing is flawless. Her timeline had every single picture we wanted to get, every friend and family member, every quirky thing I incorporated - and in the most elegant way I could have NEVER imagined. ALSO major plus - her son Jackson is a brilliant videographer. He did our video and their chemistry and vibrant energy was EVERYTHING!!!!! Do yourself a favor - just book her. She’s really busy because she’s so amazing so don’t wait. LOLOLOLOL
