Hi, I'm Georgy Shishkin — a wedding and elopement photographer with over 19 years of experience capturing love stories in breathtaking landscapes. Based in Oregon, I photograph weddings across the Pacific Northwest, California, and British Columbia. My background in photojournalism taught me how to anticipate real emotion, while my years in wedding photography taught me how to guide and support couples in front of the camera. I love helping people who’ve never modeled before feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely connected. Every story is personal to me — I’m not just your photographer, I’m your teammate throughout the day.

I specialize in working with everyday couples — not models — and help them look amazing in natural, emotional, and artistic photos. I never leave you alone in front of the camera: I guide you through every pose, every moment, and every location, so you feel confident and cared for.     Georgy was an incredible photographer for our wedding! When choosing a photographer, we were so nervous because we felt uncomfortable being in front of a camera and wanted someone who was professional, had ideas, and a timeless style. Georgy came in with ideas for locations and poses. Our package came with an engagement shoot, which helped us get comfortable with getting our picture taken and getting to know him better. This made our wedding day that much smoother. He even traveled a couple of hours to meet us.  Our wedding day was so smooth. He came in prepared and has such a good eye, always looking for new perspectives. Somehow, he was everywhere, all at once. He made sure to capture everything we had talked about, even when we weren’t sure if we had time. He found special moments we didn’t even know were happening, captured all the big moments, and the subtle details. Looking back on our photos helps us relive the day over and over! We have gotten so many comments on how good he was throughout the entire night. We can’t recommend Georgy enough for your big day!

    My husband and I are not great at posing for photos, but Georgy helped us capture both our engagement shoot and wedding in a special way. We love the candid photos!     We are still in awe of our photos. Georgy did a beautiful job capturing our elopement and we could not be happier. He was an absolute joy to work with, equally excited during the planning process and incredibly kind, helpful, and so positive the day of. Neither of us are overly comfortable in front of the camera and Georgy did a fantastic job giving us directions and making us feel comfortable and the photos turned out better than we could have imagined. We were genuinely blown away when we saw our photos. His passion and love of photography shines through in the photos he takes and his eye for where to take photos is incredible. We’re so grateful to have had Georgy as our photographer and cannot recommend him enough.
