I started as a photo nerd in high school, developing my own film and printing my own images. After completing my BFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design, I worked in portrait, event and wedding photography for a decade before returning to school to learn the craft of journalism. Since then, I've been combining my experiences as a documentarian, storyteller, and artist to explore and express my deep curiosity about others and their lives. I bring that spirit of excitement, inquisitiveness and observation to my work as a photographer, and nowhere does it serve everyone better than in wedding photography.

My style is high-energy, positive and warm. I've never met a stranger, and cry at pretty much every wedding I shoot. Sharing these most meaningful of times with people and capturing them at their best, happiest, and most alive is an honor and a pleasure. My goal is that you look at your photos year after year and relive and remember every smile, song, and moment--not your photographer. And that if you do mention me as you show your pictures to people down the line, it will only be to say "we loved our photographer!"

Fully customizable coverage of whatever features of your day you'd like to include in your timeframe. We'll discuss your ideas or map out your day early in your process, stay in touch as you plan, and finalize the details shortly before your day. I'll help you think through your scheduling, identify your priority groupings or poses, connect with your coordinators, and collaborate with you to make sure your personalities are captured in every shot!

Description

Capture all the details of your day, from private prep time with your intimate circle through your epic sendoff. We'll work together to identify your favorite style, and bring you and your loved ones' personalities to life in every shot. Also fully customizable, it's possible to split this package to include and Engagement Shoot. In that case, the engagement session will be up to 90 minutes, and wedding day coverage is up to 8 hours.

As far as possible is the short answer! About a year beforehand is typical, but I'll work with you on shorter timelines if I can. If you have a date in mind, I'd encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if it's not solid yet or your timeline is short!

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding, but the busy-season backlog can sometimes extend that to 8 weeks. If that's the case, I'll certainly let you know, and will keep you posted regularly as we progress. You'll receive a shareable download link with all your images so you can share the photos with your loved ones. Prints are also available, as are albums, just let me know if you want full or self service, and we'll make you a plan.

Yes! I'll do an initial culling so you're not drowning in outtakes, and all final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible, but I know some really talented videographers I'd be happy to connect you with!

I may bring an assistant depending on the size of your wedding and if you're comfortable with that, which won’t cost you extra, but if you'd like to hire a second photographer, I can help with that! Just let me know!

You can expect about 100 images per hour of photographing, so the final number depends on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. Also happy to discuss specialty shots or genres you'd like to be sure and capture, which won't reduce the number of other images you'll receive, so don't worry!
