I've been photographing weddings for 25 yeas in 2024! I love capturing authentic moments in true color. I went to college to learn photography and business. I've always wanted to be a photographer, and my studio specializes in weddings, maternity, newborns, and family photography. I believe in capturing all of the milestone moments for you, from when your family begins to when your kids go to college.
Nobody stays in photography for their whole career! I've never wanted to do anything besides be a storyteller. Photography has allowed me to meet amazing people and travel. It's taken me inside the best moments in people's lives and allowed me to see what hope is all about. I wouldn't trade this work for anything. And because I've got so much experience, you can rest assured your photos will have next-level care and precision with every click.

Best Photographer Ever!
Irene is AMAZING! She photographed our wedding this last summer, and picking her was one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding journey. I am not usually super comfortable with taking photos, but she made it feel so natural and easy. She captured so many priceless moments with my family and loved ones, most of the time I didn't even know she was there unless we were posing! I am beyond happy with the incredible work she did for us, and the time she took to be sure everything was perfect. She even walked us through downtown tourists and traffic on a busy summer day to be sure we got to the locations we wanted, and brought us to some we didn't know about and ended up loving! Every time I called or emailed, she was there with a quick and helpful response, which definitely helped to alleviate some of the wedding planning stress. She truly captured not only people, but emotions, who my husband and I are together and the love that we share. The photos she created allow us to share the story of our love and special day, and we are going to cherish this forever!

Amazing at capturing the authentic moments
Irene of IJ Photos is a highly-skilled and respected photographer, but also one of the kindest, most sincere people you will ever meet in your life. It is that focus on people and their relationships that allows her couples to just relax and enjoy themselves knowing that Irene has all the shots covered. And it's those relaxed moments where the authentic relationship of a couple can shine through. Knowing that you're going to get great photos is certainly reason enough to hire Irene. But a big bonus is that you have her by your side while you're planning your wedding. She will often meet with couples at their venue - even if she's been there many times - to show them different spots and talk about lighting and such. As a colleague in the wedding industry, I respect her so much that I hired her to take our family photos last year.
