I am Kimberly Hibbard. Why am I a photographer? After I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Hearing-Impaired Education, I didn't plan to be a photographer until one day. I picked up my camera and took some random pictures. I posted some pictures on FB and several friends told me, "Girl! Seriously, you need to start a photography business and I need a family session! " Here I am. I have been doing it for seven years now, over 100 weddings and I love it!! I have amazing clients and I consider them to be family.

Another fun fact about myself is that I am Hearing Impaired, and my modes of communication are Lip reading and Oral. It was discovered that I was hearing impaired when I was about two years old. Growing up, I have always been very in tune to the visual world, due to my hearing loss. This helps me to be a better photographer.
