I started taking photos when I was in high school, but did not pursue this passion of mine until 2019. When I first started, I did not think I would ever shoot weddings. However, I started second shooting for my wedding photographer and fell in love with it. There's something about capturing those special moments of two lovebirds and seeing the pure joy and love they have for each other. I love love and enjoy playing a part in preserving love in a way that people can look back on for a lifetime. God creates the most beautiful stories and it's an honor to capture His beautiful creation.

One of the most common themes I hear from previous couples, and even their families, is the "breathe of fresh air" I bring to the day, as well as the calming presence, genuineness, kindness, and professionalism I have. I love to laugh, I can be weird, I love to have fun. Your wedding day is about you and all that you want it to be and it's my goal to make sure that reigns true all throughout the day. You need a tissue? I have one in my pocket. You forgot your hanger for your dress? There's one in my bag. You are not just another client to me, you are so much more than that.

    Having Melissa as our wedding photographer was honestly one of the best choices we made for our day. She was always quick to answer questions, super organized, and brought such a calming, creative energy to everything. I loved how naturally she captured our day.     Melissa is truly the sweetest person to work with! She took our photos back when we were in college, so having her capture our wedding felt like such a full-circle moment. She made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire day, and she somehow managed to capture every emotion and special moment so perfectly. We were blown away when she sent us a ton of amazing sneak peeks the very next day! Her work is absolutely incredible!!! We can’t stop obsessing over our photos and can’t wait to see the rest.
