Hi, I'm Missy! I have a very large, blended family with 7 kids and 7 grandchildren. When we all get together, it’s l.o.u.d.! I’ve been in business for over 13 years and am based out of Geneva, but willing to travel. Some of my favorite things are: McDonald’s Cokes, Anthropologie, Kate Spade anything, a good Reisling, a great sense of humor, finding a great bargain, shopping, big hugs.

My goal as a portrait and wedding photographer is to blend fine art and photojournalism to create unique images that truly last a lifetime and that accurately reflect the emotions of the day. To do this, my team and I work unobtrusively to capture every heartfelt moment as it occurs. When it comes to my photography style I like to keep it as natural as possible. From the start of the session to the last few moments of your special day, your gallery will be a mixture of posed and candid images. Most importantly, I want every couple, family and individual I work with to feel relaxed and truly enjoy their day.

    Missy was our first choice for our wedding, so we were so happy that she was available for our date. Missy was attentive, detailed, and accommodating in her communication, always responding promptly and ensuring we were on the same page. On the day of the wedding, Missy and Kim were punctual and professional, capturing gorgeous, creative photos that exceeded our expectations. Missy has a wonderful, warm personality that put us at ease - we laughed the whole time and she handled our large, blended family photos with ease and that is the only thing we worried about. We are clients for life, as she has now also done our beautiful fall family photos. Missy is simply the best photographer we could have hoped for.

    From the first phone call, we knew as soon as we hung up that she was the best choice for our wedding. She has such a fun energy and the day of the wedding, she had that same energy but somehow managed to make the day go by perfectly. We didn't have a coordinator so Missy helped when the timeline was dragging. She took charge and we loved it, especially me, as I just didn't want to deal with all the little details so I was very grateful. If you want someone who you can count on to make your day so easy-book Missy!
