Mouw Photography
I'm Amanda Mouw. I’m so glad you’re here! After a life-long love of photography, I began formal training more than 10 years ago as a way to capture better images of my children and travels. Soon after, Mouw Photography was born, where my love of weddings, family portraits, maternity and newborn photography grew into a specialty.
To me, photography is timeless. Done right, a picture can capture a moment in such a way that the feelings - joy, excitement, love - are felt long after it's taken. Photography is also incredibly personal. My goal with clients is to create images they’re proud to hang on their walls for years to come. In fact, nothing makes me happier. To make that happen, we’ll sit down together so I’m able to learn more about you, your taste in photography, and the overall feeling you’re hoping to capture. That’s where the magic happens.

Amanda and Mallory are amazing people, and they helped us tremendously with not only the great photography, but also with navigating the demands of a wedding day. They even snuck us for 10 minutes away from everyone, which is hard to come by on that day. Now on to the photography, which is the reason we hired Amanda. The photos are stunning. She took such amazing photos with such great efficiency and made everything effortless and easy. She knew which photos we needed and made sure she got all of them. An example of Amanda's work and her attention to detail was when she moved locations during the "golden hour" shoot to take advantage of a beautiful cloud formation at sunset. We ended up in a cornfield feeling more beautiful than we ever have in our lives. It's one of the best memories we have of our wedding, honestly. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, and you read this review, just stop doing research; do yourself a favor and hire Amanda and her team! Great photographer, amazing person.

From the moment we first contacted Mouw Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Amanda and her husband were available, responsive, and deeply involved in making our wedding day special. Their communication style was warm, kind, and understanding throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was simply breathtaking - they captured the beauty of our day with such creativity, like the stunning shots of my veil flowing in the wind. They went above and beyond, even convincing the cast members at our venue to let us venture outside our designated area to get dream photos in the France pavilion. Amanda also made sure I got the photos I really wanted at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The turnaround time was incredibly quick, with sneak peeks shared within hours of the first takes. Mouw Photography showed up again at our dessert party that night, ensuring they captured every special moment. We are thrilled with the results and couldn't recommend them more highly. We wish they were local to us so we could hire them for all our photography needs! You will not be disappointed if you book Mouw photography to be a part of your WDW (or any) wedding team.

I don’t like my photo being taken but Amanda was so easy to work with and took away that fear of being in front of the camera. She is so kind and captures absolute magic. Our engagement pictures and wedding pictures are so well captured. I cannot wait to stare at them on my wall forever. Truly, do not think twice, if Mouw photography is available, you should book!!
