We couldn’t imagine trusting anyone other than Mykenzie!!! I even checked with her before booking our wedding date just to be sure she was available because I knew that no matter what came up, she would save the day… and she absolutely did. We’ve booked Mykenzie for couples photos, family photos with our dogs, our engagement, and now our wedding, and every single experience has been incredible. She makes each session feel effortless, comfortable, and genuinely fun, and it truly shows in the photos. From start to finish, she captures beautiful, authentic moments while making you feel completely at ease. I truly cannot say enough good things about MyKenzie Alexis Photography. From our first conversation, she felt like someone we could completely trust, and that feeling never changed. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera (which is NOT easy) and was such a calming presence on our wedding day - she had our back through it all. She captured everything so naturally — the big moments, the small details, and all the in-between emotions that made the day feel so special. When we got our photos back, it honestly felt like reliving the day all over again and all the emotions were felt through each photo. Beyond being incredibly talented, she is kind, organized, and just genuinely wonderful to work with. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made, and we’ll treasure these photos forever. I’m writing this the day after our wedding, and without seeing a single picture, I need to sing her praises. In our engagement pictures, MyKenzie captured *us.* For most, being photographed is incredibly uncomfortable but literally after three minutes it felt like we were hanging out with a friend. She’s an expert at capturing you in a way that feels natural while having the best time. Despite us swimming in our own sweat (Aug. 18 in Memphis), our engagement photos are so, so beautiful. MyKenzie has an incredible eye for lighting and is so creative with her framing, but what is so special is that the subjects were not two strangers who look like us, they are us. Yesterday her care, support, and energy made the day that more special. A photographer and human. I’m so grateful MyKenzie was the one to capture this season of our life so beautifully and authentically.
