Resonance Vision

We’re Will and Shell. We met in college, left China to study art in the United States, earned MFAs, and slowly built a quiet, ordinary life we cherish. Our twins arrived in 2019, and a little boy joined us in 2022. Raising them—especially through the pandemic—was exhausting and full of unexpected joy. We photographed our children constantly, learning to capture them as they are, without posing or shaping them. With time, we began to see how photographs hold life’s gentle truth: fleeting moments gathered into memories we return to again and again. To us, a good photograph reveals the passage of time and becomes part of our family’s story.

Our Vision Authentic & Fine Art For us, art isn’t an escape or an exact copy of reality—it’s a way of connecting with the world while staying true to our own sense of beauty. Between what is real and what is felt, art comes alive. That space of resonance is what shapes our work. In weddings, we follow the same belief: a dialogue between the Authentic and the Fine Art. We document real moments—candid, unposed, honest—and shape them with a fine-art sensibility and cinematic light. Our images aim for a quiet sense of luxury, where truth and imagination meet. At heart, our photographs are a resonance between the authentic and the artful.
