I’m a photographer, a teacher, sometimes a musician, and an incredibly lucky husband. I’m always asked how I got into wedding photography. Well, my Dad taught photography, and he got me into it. The more I thought I about it, I remembered our family get-togethers when we would all sit around and watch a family slideshow (on actual slides!). Fast forward to a few years later. A friend of mine asked me to photograph his elopement, and in looking at the photos afterward, I was hit with a wave of emotions. I understood why my Dad always had a camera, and why we sat around at Christmas or some other holiday and watched slides of everyone together.

Photographs are the memories of the emotions we felt when we were with the ones we love. When I capture a wedding, I want to create images that will make you feel. I want you to remember the love from your family and friends on one of the greatest days of your life. I want you to smile, to laugh, to cry and to feel that wave of emotions that hits you when you relive the start of your lives together. Let’s talk about how I can tell the story of your special day!
