About Wild Hearts NJ
Kamelia DeSoucey - Wild Hearts NJ
My love for photography was born when I picked up a camera and started shooting street photography as a hobby. This hobby quickly took over my entire life! Thankfully, combined with my editing and retouching skills, I was able to turn my passion into a career. Owning and running Wild Hearts has been the one of my greatest joys! I love truly love capturing your real life moments and emotions. Yes I am organized as hell and type A, but balance that with heavy doses of standing back and just capturing the moment as it’s happening. I feel a real connection with all the wild hearts out there, and would love it if you let me capture yours!
Our job is to make your day go as seamlessly as possible and are there all along the planning process to ensure it does. Equally as available to you for all the posed photos, as well as being able to blend in to the background to capture those authentic candid moments. We love structure as much as we love going with the flow, you need the best of both worlds to capture every moment perfectly. From first inquiries to sending you your final gallery, we are here for you and with you every step of the way. We love what we do, and we are looking forward to creating something awesome with you!

The best photographer!
My wife and I booked Wild Hearts for our 2025 wedding. This was the single best decision we made for our wedding (aside from choosing to get married). Kamelia is a fabulous photographer, a fastidious planner, and an encouraging partner for your wedding day. Kamelia is equally comfortable keeping order during wedding chaos and being a bastion of support who will tirelessly and patiently listen to all of your wedding woes. I cannot say enough good things about Kamelia. She made my wife feel supported and sane throughout the wedding process by offering sage, leveled advice and being a constant source of understanding and reassurance. She made me, who is not often comfortable in front of the camera, feel at home in our shoots. Never once when working with Kamelia did photos feel tedious, unwelcome, or unenjoyable; rather, every moment with her was fun, easy, and smooth. As a photographer, Kamelia has a unique skill to capture the beauty of small moments, to represent love and affection and happiness in timeless images. Life becomes art through Kamelia’s camera lens. Truly, her talent is unmatched. But her peerless skill as a photographer is only part of the reason you should hire her. With Kamelia, you get more than a photographer; you get a wedding planner, a sympathetic soul, a wedding day drill sergeant who keeps everything and everyone on track, a genuine advocate for her couples, and a friend. Best Wedding Vendor Decision we Made!
When I first saw Wild Hearts NJ instagram and website, I was instantly attracted to their photography style and creativity. As someone who started out completely lost with planning a wedding, I didn't realize how much Kamelia at Wild Hearts would help me in so many ways! From the first consultation video call with Kamelia, she immediately made me feel comfortable and helped me sort out my scattered thoughts and ideas with her warm, direct, and friendly communication style. She was so professional and we also had a lot of fun talking & laughing too! She answered all of my questions and was very honest about their photography style, pricing, and made sure we all were a good fit before moving forward. Kamelia took the time to gather the information on our wedding venue and details, families/friends, what is most important to us in our photos, and from there she created a schedule for us that outlined the flow of the day- SUPER helpful (she was pretty much our Wedding Planner! Lol). With someone like me who was anxious and couldn't decide on things easily for the wedding, Kamelia helped it all fall into place seamlessly and on the day of our wedding, I actually had ZERO anxiety because I knew Wild Hearts was ON IT and would guide me and my husband through the day. I also highly recommend getting the "First Look" pictures with you and your partner in a special place- the Wild Hearts team captured the most beautiful, creative, personalized First Look pictures of my husband and I in Asbury Park (the place that we met). Their professionalism and creativity are TOP TIER and I was blown away by how they encapsulated our love and personalities in these photos. I highly recommend checking out their instagram (wildheartsnj) to get a feel for their style and if it resonates with you- don't wait to book them ASAP! You won't be disappointed. I also love how you can tell that they have so much fun & are truly passionate about their work! Both my husband and I can say that they were truly one of the BEST parts of our wedding day.
