My name is Abby, owner of Wren and Rose Photography! I am based in the western Chicago suburbs and I am all capturing authentic moments and good vibes. I like to say that I am the wedding photographer for the rad souls and the groovy lovers, but truly everyone is welcome here. When it comes to my approach to wedding photography, I am big on really getting to know you two, learning about your love story, understanding your vision, and working collaboratively to ensure your day is as stress free as possible. I may be your wedding photographer, but relationships are so important to me with each client I work with.

When it comes to my style and my approach, I am super inspired by the 1960's and 1970's with a modern twist. I have a documentary style where you are able to look back on your wedding photos and they tell your story about your wedding day. Each client gallery is unique to every couple I work with (because being like everyone else is totally overrated). To me, my couples come first always. Your day, your way...always!

Abby was an absolute dream to work with and such a joy to be around. Not only did we love working with her, but our wedding party, family, and friends did too. She took the most stunning photos and truly captured our love perfectly. Her creativity and eye for unique moments resulted in photos that we will cherish forever. We loved working with Abby and could not recommend her enough!

Abby is an absolute vibe—and somehow even better in real life than her socials/website suggest. It’s hard to put into words how highly we think of her, both as a master of her craft and as a genuinely wonderful human being. From the moment we accidentally met her at a vendor event, she made us feel safe, excited, and understood—to the point that we opted out of working the photographer we were planning to use just to be able to work with her. From our engagement session through our wedding day, Abby was energetic, communicative, intentional, and affirming. She made us feel completely at ease, celebrated, and seen for who we truly are, and the photos she delivered captured that perfectly in her iconic W&R style. Every time I look at them, I feel exactly the way I did on our wedding day - the way they capture the emotion of that day is unmatched. Her entire team was professional, present, incredibly talented, and so much fun to be around—exactly the energy you want on your wedding day. We also booked Ben (W&R videographer) for content creation and I am SO glad we did! He captured so many moments we would have otherwise missed and put together the most iconic short form videos that we watch multiple times per day. His energy was also exactly what you'd expect from the W&R crew - warm, passionate, and SO FUN! My only disappointment is not having more reasons and events to hire Abby and work with her again. Will only ever reach out to her for any photo needs in the future!!

Wren and Rose Photography (AKA Abby) was the photographer we had been looking for! When I first reached out I was freaking out because I felt so behind in the wedding planning process, but Abby was so incredibly helpful, and not to mention so sweet - she really put us at ease throughout the entire process. Her photographic style is authentic and artistic, capturing every single special moment of our day in the most beautiful way. Abby was not just our photographer, but an integral part of our wedding day - she helped everything run smoothly and all of our guests raved about how wonderful she was. The final photos were unreal and we are thrilled to have such amazing memories to look back on. We LOVE Wren and Rose.
