From our very first meeting, she brought such professionalism, creativity, and genuine kindness that immediately put us at ease. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but Parris made the entire experience organized, joyful, and truly fun. She understood our vision perfectly and somehow made every single detail come to life even better than we imagined. Her attention to detail is unmatched from the timeline to the tiny touches that made everything feel personal and intentional. When the big day arrived, Parris and her team were absolute rockstars. They handled every little thing seamlessly behind the scenes so that we could be completely present and actually enjoy the day. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives, and I know that’s in huge part thanks to Parris and the Eventfully Chic team.

Where to even begin with Balazs Events...I could not imagine my wedding day without the magic that is Parris! From our first conversation, I knew Parris was the planner for us. My husband and I reached out to several premier planners in South Carolina, but Parris stood out immediately for her lightning fast replies, genuine curiosity and interest in our vision, and her warm, friendly demeanor. Parris is a pro. Her contact list of vendors has been curated to the very best and we enjoyed listening to everyone from the florist to the caterer to the live painter all gush about how she's their favorite planner to work with. It's easy to see why. She comes to every meeting prepared with questions, a list of what she's finished since our last conversation, charts, diagrams, everything. As a Type A woman in business myself, it brought me so much joy to see her lay out a printed floor plan of the venue, detailed down to the outlets in the walls, at every meeting and watch it grow in detail as time went on. She kept us on schedule, on budget, and most importantly, STRESS FREE! Leading up to the wedding, Parris was diligent with ensuring we hit every crucial milestone and secured our vendors early. She worked in plenty of vendor discounts along the way, and made sure to incorporate every element from the big ticket items we knew we wanted from day 1 (looking at you, light up dance floor) to the last minute details we just couldn't get off our minds. My favorite thing about planning my wedding with Parris is that she let me take the reins on whatever was important to me and made everything else just...happen. So effortlessly it was like magic. I felt her constant commitment to making sure the day had my signature on it, even down to a few last minute changes I requested that she somehow brought to life. My wedding day was genuinely the happiest day of my life. Parris planned every last detail. The sheer level of detail in her complete day-of schedule is seriously reason enough to book her. If there were any issues with vendors, guests, etc., I have still not heard about them over a month later. I was completely stress free and was able to be fully present in the bliss that comes from marriage to your best friend. If you are planning a large wedding, call Parris. If you are planning a small, intimate wedding, call Parris. If you aren't sure where to start, call Parris. If you already know what you want, call Parris. She is the premier planner in Columbia, SC for a reason. She is a true professional and my only regret is that I will not get the chance to plan another wedding with her!

Parris did an amazing job making sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. She helped us build a timeline that truly reflected what mattered most to us, whether it was carving out time for private moments, making space for dancing, or keeping everything flowing naturally. On the day of, she was calm, organized, and completely on top of every detail. When the weather threw us a curveball with unexpected wind and last-second changes, Parris rolled with the punches and worked hard to make everything happen seamlessly. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator!
