    From the first moment I spoke to Meg, I knew we were going to be in good hands. We hired M and M Events for their month of coordinating package. From the beginning, Meg was kind, communicative, honest, and knowledgeable. Her forms were so helpful in organizing the important details of the day, she really took the time to get the full vision of our wedding, and she went above and beyond helping us navigate some pre wedding drama. If the wedding day had bumps in the road, I didn't have a clue because Meg kept our day as stress free as possible, handled everything behind the scenes, and executed the day perfectly to our vision. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

    Our experience with meg had a mix of really positive moments and some challenges along the way. In the beginning, she was warm, responsive, and extremely helpful as we started planning. Those early months felt supported and guided, and we appreciated how she helped us lay the groundwork for our year-long planning journey, as well as helping us try to get the best ‘bang for our buck’. We chose the middle-tier gold planning package, which meant she was with us throughout the entire year. Looking back, we felt that the middle portion of planning was quieter than expected, with long stretches of minimal communication or updates. Because of that, we honestly think couples who prefer lighter involvement might have a better experience with her “month-of” package, since that seems to align more naturally with the areas where she was the most active and present. As we approached the final stretch, things became a bit more stressful. The timeline was finalized later than expected and included several mistakes, which made us feel uneasy heading into the wedding week. At the rehearsal, it felt like some key details we had clarified earlier didn’t fully carry over, leading to some confusion. We also often felt like our requests were met with hesitation rather than collaboration or compromise, which added to the pressure of those final days. Instead of a “that sounds great, let’s see how we can make that work!”, a lot of our ideas were met with a “here’s what I think we should do instead.” With our package, she does have a full google sheets planner, that you are responsible for filling out (understandably so). However, it felt as though these were prioritized over actual communication. For this reason, looking back I think the ‘month-of’ contract would’ve been maybe a better fit and a planner guide could be purchased on etsy. All of that said, we want to acknowledge that on the actual wedding day, she was very helpful and very present, and we ended up having a truly beautiful wedding. We’re grateful for the effort she put in, especially early on, and we know she has strengths that many couples will appreciate. With more consistent communication throughout the full planning period, a bit more attention to detail in the end stages, and appreciating and compromising on the couples ideas, we think future clients could have a better experience.

    Meg was absolutely phenomenal. Hiring Meg was hands-down the best part of the wedding. She pulled together a beautiful, seamless event in just a few months, handling everything from vendor selection to execution with calm confidence and incredible attention to detail. She worked closely with us to stay within budget while maximizing impact in all the right places. Her eye for design and ability to prioritize what truly mattered made the decor feel thoughtful, elevated, and completely aligned with our vision. Even when unexpected issues arose (as they always do with events), Meg navigated them with grace and professionalism. Everything within her control was flawlessly executed, and we were able to fully enjoy the day knowing she had everything handled. We’ve had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to—and we couldn’t agree more. So much of that is thanks to Meg’s talent, dedication, and steady hand. If you are lucky enough to have the chance to work with her--do it. You will be so glad you did.

    Working with Events by M and M was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first meeting, it felt like we were talking to a close friend who not only understood our vision but also genuinely cared about making our day as special as we dreamed. They listened to all of our hopes, worries, and even our smallest ideas, and somehow turned them into a day that felt uniquely ours.
