I am a certified wedding and event planner, I've been working in the wedding industry for over a decade. I started off as an event planners assistant and soon found myself working for various venues. I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I began building the foundation for my company. In 2013 I officially launched my wedding and event planning business in Sullivan County, NY. While I have planned dozens of weddings you can expect the upmost professionalism and confidence. My passion and attention to detail for this industry does not go unnoticed. I want to give every couple the opportunity to enjoy their wedding day!
As your wedding planner, my job is to be your emotional support therapist, the keeper of your mother if needed, the one who calms you down, the one who reassures you everything will be okay, all while making the wedding planning process as smooth and as stress free as possible. I am not your ordinary wedding planner, I take a very hands on approach and I am constantly expanding my knowledge, even if that means jumping in as a bartender during cocktail hour. I have experience with floral design which will come in handy for helping you design your dream wedding vision. With KR Occasions you can say "I do" with a smile and a stress free process.

We begin with an in-depth consultation where we learn about you, your event needs, and ideas. With this knowledge we prepare a proposal catered to you and design the perfect event exactly how YOU want it. Together we will finalize the concepts and we will work to recruit only the best vendors. | This service is for couples who have planned a weekend wedding experience, beyond their wedding day. This can include welcome dinners, farewell brunches and even on site activities. Our coordinators will help you manage the entire weekend wedding experience. | This service is for couples who need some assistance in certain area of the wedding planning process. Wedding Day Made Easy
Kayce helped make our wedding day perfect. From the start, she was hands on and attentive. As a couple who were not totally sure what we wanted our wedding to look like at the beginning, Kayce held our hands us through some difficult decison making. She helped keep us on track through a brief but intense planning period, and - to get really specific - she did vital and tedious work chasing down our vendors for COIs (thinking about having to do this ourselves makes me nauseous). Kayce also did amazing work putting together our beautiful floral arrangements that were the perfect touch to our woodsy winter wedding. On the day of the wedding, Kayce made sure everything went smoothly. Everyone always says every wedding has that one thing that goes wrong, but everything went perfectly for us. Kayce is passionate about getting the day right for her clients and we're so happy we worked with her.

Kayce was the best decision we made in our wedding planning journey. My wife and I are both big time people pleasers and were very overwhelmed with work as the wedding got closer. Kayce helped keep us on task and was always asking us what we want, not others. She was super familiar with many of the vendors we used and how to best work with our venue (City Winery) as she had done many weddings there in the past. Each monthly check in helped give us a good sense of what we needed to do and what things to think about over the next month. She really guided our planning and thought of logistics I wouldn't have known to plan for. We weren't going to hire a wedding planner as I do plan events frequently for work and we were planning a smaller wedding, but wedding planning was a much bigger lift than I anticipated given how personal it all is. Our very first intro call she gave us suggestions and advice for the things we were currently focusing on in our planning before we even committed to her services! As a queer couple we had some vendors treat us differently and Kayce made us feel safe and like any other couple which we didn't find to be true throughout the industry as a whole. Our wedding was one of our favorite days and we were able to truly enjoy it and not worry about all the little things (that likely popped up that I was totally unaware of!). Thanks, Kayce! 3

Highly, highly recommend Kayce for any wedding service! Kayce helped us plan our dream weekend wedding, and we truly cannot thank her enough. She went above and beyond at every step, always offering creative solutions to any challenge and seamlessly pivoting whenever our criteria changed (venue, food, you name it). She was consistently available, incredibly helpful, and brought a wealth of industry knowledge that kept us organized, informed, and on track with every deadline. Beyond planning and coordination, Kayce executed our vision flawlessly - from DIY décor for the weekend festivities to expert vendor coordination on the big day. Despite a few inevitable hiccups throughout the weekend, we were blissfully unaware of them and able to fully enjoy every moment (we still don’t know all the behind-the-scenes drama!). Hiring Kayce was the best decision we made, and we would recommend her without hesitation.

Kayce was recommended by a friend to us for a Day of Coordinator and we truly couldn’t have been pointed in a better direction. From the jump, Kayce helped us get organized, caught things we would’ve never known to look for and kept us on track to have the day of our dreams. Her familiarity with events at City Winery HV was also a huge help. She was able to help us laugh and smile along the way, assuaging our pre-wedding anxieties and assuring us she would have it all under control. And that she did! She was both professional and thoughtful with everything she did, and my wife and I can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day as great as it was.
