Finn Nottingham
I’ve been working in the wedding industry since before I had a driver’s license. My father is a SoCal based wedding videographer of twenty years. Starting when I was around 14 he would let me tag along to weddings as his assistant (a.k.a. equipment hauler), and eventually assisted in the actual videography and editing processes as well. Professionally, I have been working as a stage manager in events and entertainment for about nine years, mostly in the SLC, Utah area. I branched out into wedding coordination about three years ago and have been having so much fun with it!
I specialize in unique and non-traditional weddings of all shapes and sizes, including queer, micro, and destination weddings. I am passionate about finding details that highlight each individual, and bringing those elements together into a cohesive celebration that reflects the couple as a whole. I am eager to help you plan the day of your dreams, and to let you step back and truly enjoy the celebration that you’ve spent so long putting together.

Highly Recommend
Finn was a godsend to our wedding. In the middle of what sometimes felt like chaos, they made me and my now husband feel completely calm and grounded. They managed to bring clarity and direction to our day. They gathered information from both of us and communicated regularly. It was clear they truly understood our needs and wants for the day. They skillfully managed and executed the structure of our wedding so me and my husband could focus on being present with each other. I highly recommend Finn to any couple. Finn will make you feel steady, organized, and celebrated all at once.
Incredible work on a SERIOUS deadline
When I was a teenager, I spent hours talking about and planning my dream wedding. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep that energy rolling into my 20s. When my fiancé and I finally got engaged, I checked my old Pinterest board and found nothing but tacky, out of date, “a teenager definitely planned this in 2010” ideas. I realized I would have to plan an entire wedding from scratch in just 4 months, and panic set in. Finn got me back into Newly Engaged Bliss mode, where I belonged. I communicated a general vibe that my fiancé and I were looking for, and they helped us build that vibe into a vision and nail down specifics. They were also more than accommodating when I had to change the wedding venue not once, but TWICE. Finn managed all of the chaos while helping us design a ceremony that felt like us: warm, welcoming, and alive, with not a single mason jar centerpiece or strip of burlap in sight. We had a bespoke wedding as wonderful as our relationship. If you need a well-designed, well-organized, and well-implemented event, you need Finn.
Everything we hoped for and more
Finn is such a thoughtful and reliable person. They made the months leading up to our wedding feel so much less hectic! On the big day, we were able to relax and truly soak in every moment, knowing everything was under control. Finn’s creativity and professionalism made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We’re so grateful for the care and attention they put into making our day feel effortless!
Lesbians Plan It Better
I honestly never thought I was going to get married and I definitely was not going to have a wedding of note. However, as my partner and I started talking more and more, we scoped out what it would take to have a smooth, aesthetically pleasing and gay as he** wedding in the PNW. We like supporting small businesses and folks just getting started, and we got recommended Finn by a mutual friend. We kept it small and had them coordinate our actual Big Day. As someone who has done a LOT of managing other people's problems, I mean events, having a competent lesbian around who had taken extensive notes on what we wanted and who to talk to and handled every single thing that came up from directing caterers to the too many people who really Just Want to Be Helpful was just fantastic. Finn was incredibly responsive, asked pointed questions that got at potential problems we had not considered, and was incredibly patient with us when we got a little all over the place. They also took the animal bones, cold outdoors, and eccentricities of our privacy preferences in great stride. and they're funny as all get out. 10/10.
