Hi, I’m Bethanie Hicks, the heart behind That Wedding Planner. My love for weddings began long before this became my career — as a teenager trailing behind my mom, who was always planning or helping with events. I grew up watching the joy, the nerves, the beauty, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes a celebration come together. In 2022, I officially launched this business with one simple mission: "We create wedding days where couples can cherish their love, be present with each other, and bring their dream wedding to life in a way that feels authentic and attainable."

I’ve seen too many couples spend their wedding day caught up in timelines, vendors, and everyone else’s expectations, instead of fully enjoying the moments that matter most. That’s why I started That Wedding Planner — to help couples feel completely supported, present, and at ease on their big day. I take care of all the logistics so you don’t have to think about them. That doesn’t just mean schedules and vendors — it means protecting the moments that matter, advocating for your choices, and making sure the day flows naturally.
