Big Chill is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Charlotte, NC, where vintage soul meets modern celebration. Originally built as the city’s first roller skating rink—and later a legendary live entertainment dining club—the space has been thoughtfully reimagined for couples who want a wedding that feels elevated, personal, and fun! The venue features original hardwood floors, a built-in stage & dance floor, a fireside lounge & bar, and spaces that flow seamlessly from ceremony to cocktail hour to a packed dance floor. We are ideal for couples who care just as much about the guest experience as the design details. We offer curated bar packages, open-door vendor policy, décor & lighting enhancements, and coordination support. This allows menus and vendor teams to reflect their style, culture, and priorities. We offer a flexible, design-forward space with character you simply won’t find in a traditional ballroom!
