Columbia Ballroom
Birch Hill Catering's grand ballroom.
Providing space for up to 450+ guests, the Columbia Ballroom is our largest indoor venue. With a soaring cloudlike ceiling, 5,400 square foot dance floor, customizable L.E.D accents, and a 15-foot long firewall on the attached patio, it is the Capital Region’s #1 party choice for couples.

Room cost
The Columbia Ballroom, has a $17,000 minimum on a Friday/ Sunday and a $19,000 minimum on a Saturday. The minimum spend is not a rental fee, rather a required subtotal spend on food and beverage prior to tax and administration.

The Grand Pavilion is a spacious, open-air venue that blends the beauty of the outdoors with the comfort of a covered event space. With room to expand into the surrounding outdoor areas, it can accommodate events of 500+ guests. Its flexible layout allows for dining, dancing, and entertainment, making it an ideal setting for weddings and large-scale celebrations in any style.

Excellent venue!
A wonderful venue run by outstanding people. 5 stars is not enough of a rating. Serena and her staff did an amazing job for my daughters wedding. She even handled an issue that was not hers. We can't say enough about her. I highly recommend Birch Hill Estate.
Bride
Birch Hill Catering & Estate was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the moment we started planning with Joanne, their communication was always effective, reliable and helpful. The venue itself is gorgeous, with beautiful scenery and a perfect indoor/outdoor space for our celebration. Joanne went above and beyond to make our day exactly what we envisioned - she adapted to any changes that came up, coordinated everything seamlessly, and ensured that our wedding was truly special and beautiful in every way. We are so grateful to Birch Hill and their incredible team for making our wedding day absolutely perfect.
Birch Hill review :)
Birch Hill is phenomenal!! From the very beginning of the process, Serena was by our side, always answering any questions we had, making sure everything was clear, and making sure we had everything OUR way. The day of, she exceeded my expectations; she was AMAZING - literally running around to make sure our day went smoothly (which it did). Literally nothing went wrong other than running 15-20 minutes behind schedule which wasn’t their fault! Food was amazing, and everyone thought so, we heard the bartender was awesome as well as the drinks he made, and the venue itself is just beautiful. We had our ceremony at the pond pergola and our reception in the Colombia Ballroom - both absolutely stunning and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day, thanks to Birch Hill & Serena and even Kelsey who helped Serena the day of! We can’t thank Birch Hill enough for everything they did for us and our big day and we are so glad we trusted them; would recommend them 1000 times over!
Wedding at Birch Hill
Serena and the staff at Birch Hill were AMAZING! Planning a wedding is fun but stressful and Serena took the time to answer all my emails and every question I had in the months leading up to our wedding. The food was delicious, the venue absolutely stunning and the service and attention to detail from the staff was impeccable. They really make you feel special on your day and go above and beyond in their service. We 100% recommend Birch Hill Catering as a wedding venue.
