Tasting Room
The authentic Cleveland experience with delicious food and an innovative beer selection.
Our Tasting Room is located in a restored 19th-century building with character at every turn. Inside features the original exposed brick walls, a large antique bar, and vintage beer memorabilia. Situated on the upper level of the brewery, couples and their loved ones can enjoy viewing brewing process through the ballroom's large windows, along with plenty of natural light.

Rockefeller Room
For more intimate celebrations and pre-nuptial events, you will have many other rooms to choose from. Up to 50 people can be situated in the Rockefeller Room, Beer Cellar, or Beer Symposium, with each adorning their own unique aesthetic.
Located above our historic brewpub and named after John D. Rockefeller (who was rumored to have toiled as a bookkeeper in this very space), the Rockefeller Room features a beer barrel wall, vintage style lighting and beer memorabilia, and furniture made from reclaimed Cleveland wood. The Rockefeller Room can hold the largest formal sit down dinner of our brewpub spaces and includes an area for screen projection, its own full bar, and dinner buffet space. Full day rentals available.

The Beer Cellar’s original stone floors, barrel-aging room, and extensive bar area brings plenty of down-to-earth charm. In the Beer Symposium, eclectic artworks and decorative kegs make for an eye-catching pre-function room for cocktail hours.
Located on the lower level of our brewpub, this unique rathskeller-style room features its own bar and is the ideal space for informal cocktail hour events including happy hours, sales presentations, and small private parties. Our Beer Cellar is a charming hideaway featuring upcycled keg hanging lights, original stone floors, and close-up views of our brewpub’s fermentation tanks and small-batch barrel aging room.

Wedding Reception
As soon as my [then] fiancé and I toured GLBC event space, we knew immediately that we wanted to book this space. This was because the space had a historical and industrial look that we really liked as well as being a brewery that is one of my husband's favorites. When meeting with Shannon at the initial tour, she provided us with a handout that informed us of all of the information that we would need - wedding and/or reception layout, food options, alcohol options, room layout, and additional services (decoration package, champagne toast, etc.). The information package was extremely detailed and informed us of what we would potentially need for the venue space as well as recommendations of other vendors that we could reach out to. All of the above criteria convinced my husband and I that this was the event space we needed for our wedding. Shannon and her team have worked together for a few years and it shows. They are extremely professional, dedicated to the staff and guests, and ready to assist as they are able. For example, I had made artificial flower arrangements for the tables and I was concerned family would have to assist with the placement of this on the day of the wedding due to the schedule. Due to the pre-made arrangements and detailed list of where they would go, Shannon and her team assisted in the organization of the decorations. This goes above and beyond what an event coordinator of an event space does and I am very appreciative that Shannon was willing to help me with this on the day of my wedding. During the event, the staff also went above and beyond for me specifically (the bride) because I asked if a certain drink was available to be made and they accommodated me to make it happen! The staff also assisted at the end of the night (with my family) to clear the tables of decorations as well as grabbing additional desserts for myself and my now husband to enjoy at a later time. If you want a staff that provides great communication, excellent preparation, ease of transition, and helpful actions, GLBC is the place to book! My husband and I cannot praise the staff enough for everything they did for us. Please consider Shannon and her team if you want to have an amazing wedding!
Stress less and have a beautiful event!
The team at Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room was incredibly responsive and very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Their gorgeous venue was the perfect all-inclusive space that made our special day much less stressful. I was thrilled to learn they offered a decoration package, which helped bring our vision to life. And everyone is still raving about how delicious the food was - it was truly a hit with all our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience, thanks to the wonderful staff at Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room.

The Great Lakes Brewing Company Tasting Room was a terrific venue for our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. The Great Lakes team was super communicative, accommodating, and helpful in answering all of our questions, and they put together a perfect plan for hosting a dinner with a smaller group and then, using the same room, transitioning to welcome drinks for all of our wedding guests. The space itself is beautiful and unique -- it was a great way to welcome our out of town guests to Cleveland! The food and drink were delicious, and it was all well priced. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and our guests had a blast. Very much recommend.
