About this venue
Welcome to the "sweet gem" of Steamboat Springs. We invite couples to join us at our beautiful working ranch in the Elk River Valley. Aspen groves, valley vistas for miles, and mountains you can touch will make your special day memorable. We are a premier barn venue that specializes in that "wow" factor as well as fun! We treat you the way we would want to be treated, and with our limited number of events, we ensure every wedding is unique. Each and every event is curated - allowing for complete individuality. While couples and their guests enthuse about the beautiful views, they love the personal touch we, owners and staff, bring to events. Please note we want you to be relaxed and present on your day, so we provide an additional day for set up and for breakdown. However, there are no overnight accommodations.

Event Pavilion
The most epic space in the Rockies.
This space is a blank canvas for you to paint your reception picture on. With draping, it can be as intimate or as expansive as you want. The event pavilion has beautiful market lighting throughout accented by wrought iron chandeliers, and is just waiting for your decorative ideas. Both ends of the arena have huge roll-up doors, and the view from the south side is spectacular.

Steamboat's only barn venue.
Steamboat is known for it's famous barn - yet this is the only venue with a barn in Steamboat! Gorgeous wood paneling greets your guests and it includes romantic, dimmable Edison lighting. Whether used for cocktails or an intimate reception, our barn provides memorable moments.

We had the time of our lives!
La Joya Dulce is easily one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Colorado. After attending a wedding there as a bridesmaid, I couldn’t stop thinking about it—and when it came time to choose a venue for my own wedding, it was an easy yes. The ranch is perched above the valley with panoramic views that are genuinely breathtaking and feel incredibly special in person. Our experience working with Tommi was a standout. She was professional, thoughtful, and completely on top of every detail. Throughout the planning process, she provided steady guidance, calm reassurance, and a level of care that made the entire experience feel personal and well supported. We also loved the venue’s “Share the Love” décor inventory. Having access to curated pieces like chargers, linens, and candlesticks made styling our wedding simple and elevated, without the stress of sourcing or purchasing items we’d only use once. From the stunning landscape to the organized, experienced team, La Joya Dulce delivers a truly exceptional wedding experience. It’s an ideal venue for couples looking for natural beauty, amazing support, and a setting that feels both luxurious and authentic.
THE most amazing venue
We cannot even begin to express how happy we are that we chose La Joya Dulce for our wedding venue. We got married on 8/1/25 and it was the BEST day ever. It is the most beautiful and professionally run venue we have come across. La Joya Dulce was 1 out of 2 venues that we toured. After we met Kathie and Flynn last fall for our tour, we had full confidence that the venue and team would help us create our dream day. The communication and organization of this venue and team is top notch. They help you through the entire wedding planning process and make sure everything is lined up well before your day. The venue itself is beautiful. We are from Denver but love Steamboat and visit often, so getting married here was extra special for us. Our family and friends were in AWE the entire day! The views are incredible and it truly encompasses everything you want in a Colorado wedding. Huge thank you to Tommi, our wedding coordinator, that went above and beyond to make our day nothing short of amazing. She's organized, fun, and knows everyone in town - this helped make communication with vendors seamless and easy. Tommi took care of an endless amount of tasks before I even thought to address them. Our family and friends couldn't say enough good things about her! She is amazing, I truly cannot praise and thank her enough. Thank you Kathie and Wayne for giving us our dream day. You truly blew our expectations out of the water and we couldn't be more grateful. Wayne - thank you for all of the behind the scenes pics from our day as well!
Wish I could go back!
6mo out from our wedding and still dreaming of the day! From the moment we first reached out to La Joya Dulce, they were on top of it. The team was incredibly friendly and provided great suggestions to help make our special day “ours” and no one else’s! Their "share the love" inventory allowed us to save costs on decorations and other items that are often thrown out after just one use. The venue itself is so stunning, honestly minimal decorations are even needed. They really helped us think through all the little details that we wouldn't have known mattered, ensuring our wedding went off without a hitch. Their team truly cared and wanted to make our day special — from the operations staff who did setup and takedown, to the vendors they recommended, to the owners, everyone was amazing. Our wedding planner was incredible, kind, thoughtful, helped me make decisions I didn’t want to lol. We can't recommend La Joya Dulce highly enough for any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience.
Best Venue Ever
We had the wedding of our dreams at La Joya Dulce. We knew the first time that we visited the ranch that we’d be getting married here. We got married here in September and the fall colors look incredible in our photos. We had the privilege of working with Croix as our wedding planner. She was so kind, organized, and was incredibly accommodating to our busy schedules. She provided support every step of the way. Our big day couldn’t have gone better! Kathie, Croix, and the entire La Joya team work so well together and ensure that everything goes perfectly. I can’t recommend this venue enough!
