Maritime Center

An exquisite venue for social gatherings, banquets and receptions, featuring stunning views of the Chechessee River.

This is a fully indoor space, inside of our museum. Your guests will enjoy looking at exhibits, live animals and artifacts. This space includes access to one of our 2 docks to allow for event flow.

Weezie Educational Pavilion

A large, open-air pavilion with unbeatable view of the Chechessee River.

This space features a seated event area of about 60x100' and is equipped with catering kitchen and bathrooms. While the space is open-air, there are barn doors that can be shut during your event.

    As a wedding coordinator, I've had the opportunity to work with The Port Royal Sound Foundation for a few weddings this year. The venue itself is truly unique, offering a beautiful waterfront setting that provides great value. Sarah in particular is always an absolute pleasure to work with through the entire process. She is quick to respond to my calls, emails, and available when I bring brides by for a site visit. I highly recommend the Port Royal Sound Foundation to any couple looking to get married.

    If you are looking for the best event venue in Beaufort County, look no further than the Port Royal Sound Foundation. From the breathtaking views to the incredible team that works alongside you, every part of the experience is unmatched. They consistently go above and beyond to accommodate your needs and help bring your vision to life. The facility itself is stunning and versatile, easily transformed to match any style or atmosphere you’re imagining. I truly cannot recommend them enough. In fact, the only reason I wouldn’t recommend them is because I don’t want to compete with everyone else for this amazing venue. It is an absolute gem.
