The District is located in the historic memorial hall in downtown Richmond, IL. With is soaring wood ceiling and original brick walls, The District, built in 1907, combines classic American architecture with modern touches. A covered outdoor patio and private alley provide an outdoor oasis for a cocktail hour, small ceremony, or extension of the party.

    The District was an absolutely fantastic wedding venue. From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. They truly thought of everything - the indoor/outdoor spaces were elegant and versatile, and the bridal suite was luxurious. They even allowed us to have our dog be part of the ceremony, and were quick to adapt to any last-minute changes. Heather and the entire staff were amazing, and the venue was perfect, with so many beautiful photo areas and layout options. The bathrooms were clean and plentiful, and the overall experience was simply beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

    The District was amazing! Heather was so helpful, and the staff were incredibly accommodating to all of our needs. The venue was clean, beautifully maintained, and the team made everything run smoothly. I would highly recommend The District to anyone looking for the perfect place to get married!

    The District was an outstanding wedding venue for our special day. From the very beginning, they were extremely communicative and responsive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The quality of their tables, chairs, and other rentals was top-notch, and their friendly staff and bartenders provided excellent service throughout the event. The District created the perfect outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour space, as well as a beautiful indoor reception area for dinner and dancing. Our guests were blown away by the stunning space, and many commented on how beautiful everything looked. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our wedding.

    From a vendor - We had the absolute pleasure of photographing an event at The District recently and had an amazing time. This may be one of my teams new favorite venues to shoot at. From the cutest decor to the beautiful, well-lit loft, to the shaded outdoor ceremony space, I hope that I'm able to photograph here again soon!
