The Boathouse
With soaring timber-frame ceilings, original woodwork, and a preserved Victorian-era exterior, the space blends natural beauty with historic charm.
Surrounded by water and panoramic views, before celebrating beneath the Boathouse’s dramatic exposed beams. The venue accommodates up to 170 guests, depending on preferred seating. A seasonal venue, the Boathouse is open from mid-May through early October. It is a truly unforgettable space - elegant, organic, and steeped in timeless Adirondack charm.

Inside, you’ll find beautifully preserved wood floors, cozy fireplaces, and climate-controlled comfort. Flow effortlessly onto the generous lakeside veranda, set amid sweeping views of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains - ideal for cocktails, mingling, or serene moments together. For larger celebrations, a tent can be added on the South Lawn, seamlessly blending indoor elegance with outdoor charm and accommodating up to 215 guests.

Incredible venue with the best lake views!
We recently had our wedding at the Valcour Inn and Boathouse, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the professionalism and warmth of the staff made us feel at ease. The location itself is stunning—set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Champlain, it offers an intimate and serene setting that's truly one-of-a-kind in the area. Our lodging experience was exceptional. The rooms were comfortable, charming, and offered amazing views, allowing our family and friends to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the North Country. The entire property feels like a hidden gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate such an important occasion. If you do host an event there, the catering and the food was absolutely phenomenal, and the level of detail, professionalism, and taste exceeded all expectations. Each meal—from our casual gatherings to the wedding itself—was flawless, leaving our guests raving about the food experience for days afterward. If you're looking for a stunning venue for a wedding or event, or even just a peaceful getaway, the Valcour Inn and Boathouse is unbeatable. This place truly is a premier destination in the region and we are forever grateful for our experience here and can’t wait to return!
