Nothing goes better with your event than the perfect Kentucky crafted beer! West Sixth NuLu has 2 dedicated event spaces we designed to be the perfect blank canvas for your rehearsal dinners, weddings, engagement parties, & receptions on the second floor of our Louisville taproom. In addition to the private restrooms and bar, we have an additional space that can be joined in tandem with our event hall. In addition to our great West Sixth beer options we can also offer wine & liquor for private events. CHEERS!

The Lounge
"The perfect spot for cocktail parties and rehearsal dinners."
Located on the second floor of the Louisville taproom, it has a large wrap-around bar with built-in tables and a variety of cocktail seating. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting! Can be booked as a package with Marketplace Hall.

Both of our upstairs private event spaces available at a great packaged price! The Lounge makes the perfect setup for a cocktail reception before moving into Marketplace Hall for a seated dinner and dancing. Seating between both rooms can accommodate up to 165 guests, with standing room for up to 200 guests.

An INCREDIBLE Brewery Wedding!
When we started planning a December wedding in Louisville, we knew we needed a venue that would work in any weather. Given our shared love of craft beer, and our desire for an inviting space to host the event, we could not imagine a better option that West Sixth NuLu. Booking was straightforward and smooth, with two spaces to rent (we used both!) and a menu of packages that offered variety and flexibility without feeling overwhelming. We kept it simple with an open bar for beer, wine, and sodas, though our guests had the option to purchase select liquor as well. We also arranged a special beer for the event! It was an additional charge and took some planning but was absolutely worth it. Catering options are flexible - West Sixth provides a list of recommended local businesses, but allows for other outside vendors as well. We'd definitely be interested in trying their in-house options sometime in the future, though! We were fortunate enough to have an unseasonably warm and sunny day, which made for some stunning photos and a perfect display of all the natural light in both event spaces. Morgan, the event coordinator, helped us select the best arrangement for all stages of the event, and the staff rearranged seamlessly as the night progressed. In addition, each bartender was incredibly kind and attentive, which made for the most enjoyable evening. All in all, our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Amazing staff, beautiful spaces, and customizable packages make West Sixth NuLu a true gem for any event, all at a SERIOUSLY reasonable rate. We cannot recommend them enough!
Wedding reception
The preparation, set up, and evening felt so easy. Working with morgan was a blessing, as she is knowledgeable and respectful, and understands the wedding jitters. She allowed us to come as much as we wanted to plan and visualize what we wanted for the space. It turned out better than I imagined. The space is so warm, welcoming & private. You'd never know there was a full running brewery below! Can't thank West 6th and Morgan enough for helping with our special day.
Perfect Event Space!
We had a rehearsal dinner and welcome party for a wedding. It was the perfect place as most of the guests were from out of town staying in the NULU area. Bartenders were fantastic. Mayan Cafe is right next door and catered. Could not have asked for a better venue!
Beautiful Space, Great for a Non-Fussy Reception
We hosted our wedding reception here and LOVED it. The space is beautiful on its own and does not need a lot of decorations. It was nice and easy having the alcohol provided by West Sixth (just had to meet a bar minimum, which we did easily with 80 some guests). I also liked that we were able to bring our own food in, which was provided by a local restaurant. Staff is friendly and communication was easy aside from an email glitch. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change anything!
