How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance.

Question 2

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance (COI) to your venue or coordinator/planner upon request.

Question 3

How many videographers should we book for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

All of our wedding packages include at least two videographers. If you’re having a larger wedding with 100 or more guests, we recommend booking an additional videographer to ensure we’re able to capture every moment of your special day.

Question 4

Can you still film our outdoor wedding if it rains on our wedding day?

Accepted Answer

We will do our best to capture your beautiful day in the event of rain, while cameras are not water-proof, they have some form of water-resistance and we'll take appropriate measures to make sure they stay dry. However, we can not record under other inclement weather conditions like snow and hail.

Will you work alongside our photographer?

Accepted Answer

Yes, of course! My team and I work really well with photographers and we aim to have an amicable and professional relationship as we both do our very best to capture your wedding day. We'll keep communication with your team before and during the wedding to ensure we aren't in each other's way and we both get what we need.

Question 6

How long after the wedding can we expect to receive the final video?

We know you are super excited to re-live your magical day over and over again or share it with family and friends! It is of utmost importance to us that you receive a beautiful film that highlights your love and documents your beautiful day as incredible as it was. Therefore, we aim to deliver your final videos within 2-3 months, however, depending on the complexities of the day or if wedding season is particularly busy, it might take slightly longer. Rest assured we take the time we need to make sure you receive a stunning film, while being as efficient as possible.

Are there any additional or hidden costs we should be aware of?

We do not charge travel fees within California, we do ask that you pay for our parking if we need to park in a parking garage for equipment and personal safety. An invoice will be delivered after the day if the parking fees exceed $15. Travel fees: we love to travel to make sure your beautiful wedding memories are preserved. Thus, we only charge travel fees (airfare). We'll take care of our accommodations.

Are you open to our ideas and preferences for the video?

Accepted Answer

We love to tailor our videos to our couples, we shoot very candidly and do minimal posing. So we do have a style we prefer, however, we love to incorporate your vision and ideas into the final video. We can not guarantee a particular idea and we always have a chat before we book your date to make sure we can make your vision a reality. It IS your wedding video after all, we feel like you should have some say into how it looks.

How do you handle low-light or challenging lighting situations?

We bring 2 lights to all our weddings for toasts and formal dances. We want to make sure there is optimal light for our cameras to retain high quality, crisp images. We also use newer cameras that can capture low-light more cleanly. There are times where vendors or a venue will prevent us from using our lights (particularly during ceremony ie. churches), at that point we will do everything in our power to get the best, cleanest image possible out of our camera to preserve your wedding memories.

What sets your style of videography apart from others?

More than our style, we set ourselves apart by our values, our professionalism and attention to detail. We value your memories more than anyone and we know how important they are and will be for you in the future. To that effect we perform at 150% to make sure everything that needs to be captured is captured, all the audio is captured and your experience with us is seamless and relaxing. We'll be with you, helping you along the way and making sure you know things are taken care of. Our style is very romantic, unobtrusive and elegant. We want your video to be timeless, beautiful and emotional now and 50 years from now.

Do you offer engagement or rehearsal dinner videography services?

Sure! Just chat with us and we'll come up with a quote and a game plan for it :) Whatever memories you want to preserve, we'll be there for you.

Question 12

How do you handle working with different cultural or religious ceremonies?

Accepted Answer

We've worked with many beautiful couples from many different backgrounds and religions. Indian, Mexican, Catholic, Orthodox, Greek, LGTBQ+, among others. Your religion and culture is beautiful and something to be captured and remembered. As always, our goal is to preserve your memories and we will do our best to learn about your culture and religion to better execute our job to document the day's events.

Do you have backup staff or additional resources in case of emergencies?

While this has never happened, and we hope it never happens. We do have several film makers we are friends with that can respond in the event of an emergency. Our second shooters (all our packages have a 2nd shooter now), also have lead shooting experience and can shoot a wedding alone if need be. We are prepared to pivot regardless of the situation to make sure that your wedding day goes as planned and everything gets filmed seamlessly.

Question 14

How do you ensure the audio quality during the ceremony and speeches?

We have audio equipment we use to capture as much as possible from the wedding day, besides our camera microphones, we also have microphones for the couple, the officiant and to record the sound system (with DJ permission) so everything that happens gets recorded. Should there be no DJ or speaker system available, we use our microphones to make sure whoever is speaking is heard in our edits cleanly.

Do you offer photography and videography packages?

Yes! Now we proudly offer photo + video packages for 6 hour and 8 hour weddings! We can always customize packages if you require less or more coverage. We work seamlessly together, since we are the same team and are really good at reading each other's minds. :D And we still love working with different photographers, so don't feel like you HAVE to book our photo + video package. We always. like meeting new creatives and bouncing ideas of each other.

Who will edit our wedding video?

All of my films are edited by me (Hector D.) I'm the one that has been chatting with you, got to know you and filmed your amazing wedding. We shared your vision and plans for your film, so it makes sense to me that I'd make that vision a reality and personally take care of making sure your film is an incredible experience, documents your day as it happened and perfectly encapsulates the emotions of your day. :)

Do you film elopements?

Absolutely! I have an elopement package and I am happy to film those memories so you can always look back and remember your beautiful day! :)

Why are your prices relatively inexpensive (compared to others)?

Accepted Answer

I actually get this question alot (or get ghosted because of this reason). The answer is very simple: to me, filming people's memories have a personal value. While I have to keep the business running and make at least some form of profit, I also keep in mind that couples want their wedding memories preserved for the future while trying to stay in a budget. Thus, my pricing reflects what I believe is a good marriage of the quality I offer, the experience, my professionalism and my desire to help couples out, while staying on a decent budget. Money isn't everything and to me, filming and preserving your memories is priceless. :)
