Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Bethlehem, CT

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Awarded Best of Zola
Using SBB was a great choice for our wedding - a fraction of the cost of fresh flowers, sustainable, and beautiful! We got centerpieces and some ceremony decor. Everything came boxed up safely and arrived like 5 days before the wedding. It was super easy for our coordinator to just take them out, fluff them up, and box them up again at the end of the night. I felt good renting not throwing away a bunch of stuff at the end. And again, the flowers were so beautiful!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Bethlehem, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I knew I had some craft skills and did not want to hire a florist, so found Flower Moxie online to do the flowers myself for my daughter's wedding. Maria was very helpful and responsive. I scheduled a phone call to answer my questions and then placed an order for loose flowers and greenery, mixed boxes, and premade wearables and bouquets. I felt the pricing was reasonable. I ordered the vases etc. online along with extra ribbon and pins. Please know you have to refrigerate the wearables, I recommend a wine fridge for the slightly warmer temperature. The flowers arrived as described, and although the corsages seemed small, they actually wore just fine. I was able to add some color to the bridal bouquet with the loose flowers. I found the process to be low-cost, low-stress, and again Maria was so very helpful that I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My daughter loved what I was able to do.

Fountainhead Floral Design

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Bethlehem, CT
  • Offer

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Awarded Best of Zola
Kate at Fountainhead Floral Design was absolutely incredible to work with. From the beginning, she created a vision board that captured exactly what I was hoping for and was so personable and easy to collaborate with throughout the process. I trusted her with creative control, and she truly shined. She brought my vision to life in a way that exceeded anything I could have imagined. We were married on 9.13.25 at Eolia Mansion, and despite a very tight setup window, Kate and her team executed everything perfectly. My wedding bouquet was absolutely stunning and exactly what I dreamed of. Every floral detail felt thoughtful and intentional. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and I would recommend Kate and Fountainhead Floral Design without hesitation to anyone looking for a florist who is creative, professional, and truly talented.

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Bethlehem, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a wonderful florist to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, clear, and friendly. They walked us through the process seamlessly and the quality of their work was excellent. The bouquets, boutonnières, garlands with clip on flowers, and centerpieces had an authentic, natural look despite being faux flowers. Pricing is transparent and affordable, making it an easy decision to choose Faux Bouquets. The bright spring colors in the Garden Vibrance collection were beautiful, annd a perfect fit for our late May wedding. The order arrived with ample lead time prior to the wedding day. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, and their return shipment process is very simple and easy to follow. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Elegant Floral Creations by Amy went above and beyond for both my daughters Bridal Shower and Wedding. For the Shower we were not sure what we wanted but we told Amy the theme and she wowed us all. The flowers and the colors were all beautiful and went perfect with our theme. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful all the decorations were and how the flowers brought everything together. For the wedding, my daughter knew exactly what she wanted and when I tell you Amy more then delivered I am not exaggerating. The floral bouquets and boutonnieres were stunning and when we walked into the venue the floral arrangements and swags and floral details with the candles took our breath away. The Venue was beautiful but the flowers made everything even more beautiful and elegant! The florals and candles really set the tone and the mood. The attention to detail was phenomenal! The photographer was even excited about all the details in which she made sure to capture in the photos. We will be using Elegant Floral Creations by Amy for all our future floral needs! Isabelle is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient; a true artist with their flowers :') I emailed Isabelle to ask about DIY floral arrangements for our June 2025 wedding. We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day. It was an experience I will never forget; thank you, Isabelle & the folks who make Fairy Meadow Flowers so special! :') Photo credit: Ken Yotsukura (& family/friends)

Boom & Bloom

  • Serves Bethlehem, CT

As a little boy from Mexico, I spent countless hours helping my grandmother in her flower shop, where I first discovered the magic of design and the way flowers can tell a story. Boom & Bloom’s floral style is unapologetically abundant, artistic, and designed to make a statement.

Arturo has been with us since he was 18, and we have seen him grow in so many ways. He is extremely friendly and all of the guests always love him. He is dedicated and highly focused on the details, and that commitment shines through in both his team and his floral designs. We’ve worked with many florists and the property has never been adorned with so many beautiful and unique arrangements. For Agatha & Bartek’s wedding, the entire estate was filled with breathtaking flowers all weekend long. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding day and after day brunch. The tent was alive with vibrancy, and the way he incorporates flowers, even weaving them seamlessly with trees, is truly stunning. He is a true artist with an eye and vision to create something truly unique and special for each couple. We can’t wait to see what he does in the near future!

Sonja is INCREDIBLE! I can’t speak highly enough about her—she went above and beyond for our wedding. From the start, she understood my vision, and we stayed perfectly aligned throughout the planning process. When we began designing the florals, Sonja presented her inspiration board, and to my surprise, it included the exact same image I had independently chosen for my own board—a detail I hadn’t shared with her! Her eye for design and ability to bring a vision to life are unmatched, and her passion for her work shines through in the most beautiful final product. I didn’t know much about flowers, but I found myself genuinely excited as she described the blooms she selected for my bouquet. On the wedding day, it was so comforting to work with someone I trusted completely to execute my vision. Hey there! I'm Kristina, and I'm absolutely in love with all things floral. When I'm not creating stunning arrangements, you'll often find me spending quality time with my beautiful family – my loving husband and our three adorable kids. Being happily married and a mother has taught me the importance of cherishing life's precious moments, and that's exactly what I strive to do with my floral designs. With a passion for weddings and events, I pour my heart into making each occasion extra special and unforgettable. My journey in the world of flowers has been an incredible one, and I can't wait to weave that magic into your dream event!

Evergreen Botanical Studio Flower Preservation was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From our first conversation, Jackie and her team were sincere, thoughtful and warm in their communication, making us feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Their passion for their craft is evident in the incredible work they did preserving the flowers from our special day. With a true heart of gold and an amazing eye for color, they treated our flowers with the utmost care and attention to detail. Passing our wedding flowers on to Evergreen Botanical Studio to be preserved was one of the best decisions we made - every time I look at the beautiful keepsakes they created, I'm reminded of the most perfect day. We are beyond grateful for their thorough and thoughtful service.

Jelena was an absolute pleasure to work with for my best friend's wedding and as another vendor. She has an exceptional eye for design and the ability to bring a vision to life in a beautiful, well-thought-out way. I am so impressed by her attention to detail and organizational skills, as she seamlessly handled logistics, produced phenomenal floral arrangements, and executed every task to perfection. She even created a gorgeous custom wedding cake that was both visually stunning and delicious. I would highly recommend Wilderness Faire to any couple looking for a talented, reliable, and professional wedding florist.
