“A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

“There aren’t enough words to describe the absolute icon that is Delycia. My husband and I initially reached out to her because she had photographed weddings at our original venue, and we were completely sold after looking through her portfolio. Her moody, emotional, and intimate photos were exactly what we envisioned. We are not “cookie-cutter” wedding photo people, and with every set of photos we reviewed, we found ourselves literally gasping. Our gut feeling was only reinforced once we started talking to her and getting to know her. Neither my husband nor I had ever had professional photos taken, but our engagement shoot was so much fun. It felt like hanging out with a long-time friend, coupled with Delycia’s incredible ability to give just enough direction to create stunning photos while still capturing “us.” We couldn’t stop gushing about her afterward. When we had to drastically change our venue’s location, we were worried it would be too far for her. We built a Pinterest board together and she turned that inspiration into a clear plan, sending a timed schedule with locations and transitions so nothing felt rushed. From the first message she was organized, responsive, and thoughtful about light and timing. It absolutely poured the day of our shoot, umbrellas and all, and she powered through the elements without missing a beat. She found covered spots in the park and beautiful corners of the city and kept the whole experience lighthearted and fun. We are not big on posing and she made it feel natural with simple cues and small adjustments that never felt forced, even while we were juggling umbrellas. Her ability to capture light is impeccable. She moves with ease from digital to film and from indoor to outdoor settings, and the gallery reflects that range. Colors are true to life, and the black and white images are timeless.
