As soon as the music began playing and the bride walked through the doors to come down the aisle, the groom immediately was hit with tears (the type that every bride hopes for). I saw from the corner of my eye that his mom turned around and instead of watching the bride walk down the aisle like everyone else, she watched her son’s reaction in tears. I have lived in the Charlottesville area all of my life. I found my passion for photography in high school while working on yearbook staff. I never thought I would come to enjoy photography and the amazing people I photograph so much! I work full time as a Radiologic Technologist at a local hospital. I perform CT Scans and X-rays for patients there. My main passion in life is making people smile and to travel the world.

From developing black and white images in the darkroom to capturing day-to-day happenings as photo manager of the high school yearbook, my camera became an extension of me. I wanted to document the moments of the people I cared about - whether mundane or significant - and create something beautiful. Fast forward ten years and I’ve gone on to complete my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and clinical to become a registered dietitian nutritionist. I’ve had a thriving career at UVA Medical Center for the past five years and witnessed firsthand both the value and fragility of human life.
