Our six-bedroom barn estate built in 1790 on three acres of lawn and meadow uniquely marries under one 4,000-sq-ft roof a post-and-beam "cathedral" side with soaring 40-foot ceilings and a grand staircase, and a cozier cottage side with farmhouse aesthetic. Aside the manse is a secondary 1,000-sq-ft whitewashed open-space "raw" barn. Hello! We're Natalie and Aldo, the couple behind Silas House Inn and Barn. Silas House is a historic dairy farm and house in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The home has lived many lives and in summer 2024, we reopened it as a boutique B&B. The Barn is 5,000 sqft of event space with the lower barn fully renovated and staged for your next event. The upper lofted barn will see further modernization in Spring 2024 and is the perfect reception and indoor ceremony space. Behind the barn is two acres of sprawling lawn including raised bed gardens and mountain views. We're so excited to share Silas with couples in 2025 and beyond!
