The building, the amenities and the food…important? Someone once told me, “a bunch of things are gonna go sideways on your day, you’ll know, but no one else will. I cannot say enough about working with Brittany S Events for special event coordination! We hosted my baby shower at the Bedford Village Inn for 80 guests and needed additional help with set-up and timing to ensure the event ran smoothly. Brittany was instrumental in both the development of the timeline for the big day and executing the decor and program day-of. She was the perfect person to gut check how long speeches, games, food service, etc. would take and create a timeline for the event that put our guests enjoyment first. Brittany arrived right on time for set-up and flawlessly followed the intricate decor plan we had crafted. Having her there made the shower more enjoyable for me as I was able to relax as a guest and know that she was handling any backend questions that popped up with the venue team. Not only that, but Brittany made sure I always had a (non-alcoholic) drink in hand and was wonderful about capturing some special moments throughout the day. We are so glad that we hired Jamie to be our day of coordinator and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to be stress free on their wedding day. We had previously hired a different DOC who had to drop out due to personal health problems. Jamie came recommended to us through our florist who had worked with her before. From our first meeting with Jamie, she instilled a confidence in us that we had never felt with our previous hire. She is a great communicator and clearly laid out what responsibilities she would be taking on. She had a series of meetings with us leading up to the wedding, handled vendor communication in the final week before the event, and put together a timeline based on our preferences and vendor preferences. We also hired her to do the styling for our tables which turned out exactly the way we had envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Jamie and her team took care of executing the timeline and ensured the set up was done to our specifications. We had a small snafu where I had forgotten to get pens for the guestbook and she took care of it for us. I am sure there were other areas where the event did not go according to plan, but Jamie and her team took care of them all. My husband and I both agree that we had a perfect wedding!

I'm obsessed with Charlene! She was a dream to work with. She brought such professionalism to our hectic event. We were planning a wedding at a personal property, meaning we had to supply every single vendor and she handled everything amazingly. She wrangled the vendors prior to the day of and she helped me keep my cool during the stress of the morning. You can tell she's a pro at this! There were times I felt a little underwater in terms of managing an event I had no experience with, and her demeanor was so calming and she handled any last minute things. She also helped with some post-wedding issues even though she could have wiped her hands and been done with the event day of. I've already told multiple people in her area to book her immediately.

My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!

HIRE CASSIE!!! There are so many reasons to hire Cassie, including that she is absolutely a lovely human being, but it really boils down to she will make your whole wedding better, both from your perspective and your guests’. We were definitely that overly anxious couple who thought about eloping at every other decision. Cassie greatly reduced the stress on our plates by doing all the research so we could actually enjoy making the decisions and envisioning our day. Anything we didn’t absolutely love, Cassie would come back to us with new options, helping to fine tune the vision so the day perfectly fit us. When we were worried we were behind schedule or over budget, Cassie and her phenomenal organizational skills always helped reassure us of the timeline and that we were in fact coming in under budget for our wedding. And she did all of this while we lived in California, planning our Massachusetts wedding. At one point during the process, my partner,Cassie, and I were in three different states, but she always found the time to meet and made sure she was always available for us. The day of the wedding, we got so much feedback from our parents and the bridal party that they have never seen a wedding run so smoothly. Even the hairstylist noted she had never seen a bridal party so relaxed and on schedule. At our wedding, with Cassie handling all the day-of coordination, we were able to simply be guests of honor and enjoy the evening. Our wedding ended up being beyond our wildest dreams and it is really all thanks to Cassie.

I won't lie in this review and say that I did not think I needed a wedding planner when my now wife and I were about 8 months out from our wedding date. Steph is absolutely the most worth it investment we made for our wedding. From day 1, you can tell that she is going to make your wedding day and lead up to it as easy and seamless as possible. I genuinely do not think our wedding would have been as smooth or fun if I had to worry about making sure everything was in place and on time. Steph goes above and beyond what you will typically see for a wedding planner, going so far as to meet with your vendors multiple times in the months leading up to your wedding and take A LOT of the worry and stress off of the couple. She was absolutely one of the easiest and kindest people to work with, guiding our choices and timeline with her plethora of experience. Additionally, she does not push anything on the couple that they are not comfortable with, and is always open to having extended conversations about certain topics and being willing to share ideas. I cannot overstate how crucial she was to our wedding, and how much her help changed my mind about needing an amazing wedding planner like Steph. Working with Marissa and her team at MB Events, was by far the best decision my husband and I could have made during our wedding planning process. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected. We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team. Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

Amanda was excellent to work with for our wedding. She kept us on track throughout the entire planning process and was phenomenal at coordinating all our vendors (and we loved all the vendors she recommended to us as well!). Something we really appreciated, in particular, was her willingness to adapt to our specific context and preferences. There were certain elements of our day that weren't super traditional, and she made us feel very comfortable and supported in executing those aspects. Additionally--and this is NOT to be underestimated in a wedding planner--she is really easy to get along with. Totally 1 the EQ comment; she can balance a lot of different personality types. Her presence made a huge difference, especially on the day of the wedding. She thought of everything! Wei Yuh was hired for the task of organizing a lovely and elegant Victorian Romance themed wedding rehearsal dinner at the Omni Parker Hotel on October 24, 2025. Following the dinner, a private Ghost Tour of Boston also took place for the wedding party, and the timing for these events was crucial. She did so professionally, with good communication with myself, the hotel staff, and the florist. From lace table runners to floating candles, everything was perfect when we arrived. Wei Yuh also communicated well with our guests concerning the day’s itinerary, suggestions for appropriate dress (since the ghost tour could be a bit chilly), and handled special needs requests with ease. She took charge of scheduling gift presentations and toasts between courses, tweaking them as needed to meet our schedule. I couldn't be happier with her services and I appreciate the work she put forth to make this event a very special evening!

We first met Connie Clark when our daughter was organizing her wedding reception. At that time, Connie was involved with a startup venue that was undergoing renovations. To cut a long story short, around 7 PM the evening before our daughter's reception, it became clear that the venue was not prepared. When the venue manager was not responding to her calls, she rallied the group that was financing the remodeling project. By 10 PM, the lead investor instructed Connie to find an alternative location for the reception, which was scheduled for the following evening. Connie reached out to a nearby coffee shop/bar, explained the situation, and requested the on-duty manager to contact the owner to see if the reception could be held there. Shortly after, Connie received confirmation that the reception would take place at the new venue. She informed the investment group about the change in location and began reorganizing for the new space. Our family learned of the change around 7:30 AM on the day of the reception, and once we gave our approval, Connie assembled a team and transformed the coffee house/bar into a beautiful reception hall. What Connie managed to coordinate and accomplish in such a brief period was truly remarkable.

Events by Chrissie Sue was amazing! Hiring Chrissie Sue Coutu, owner of Events by Chrissie Sue, to help me plan my only daughter’s wedding was the best decision I made. Chrissie Sue was a joy to work with over the past year. Her energy, professionalism, creativity and incredible fountain of knowledge were invaluable to my daughter and me. We shared our vision with Chrissie Sue at our first meeting and she ran with it. When we got crazy, she was there to help calm us down and we all had lots of laughs throughout the year! I would also like to comment that Chrissie Sue was a pro at staying within our budget and showing us how to spend our money wisely. Chrissie Sue was incredibly helpful with choosing vendors and securing contracts. For example, Chrissie Sue assisted us with florist recommendations and then she and the florist, Petal & Wren, compiled a Look Book for us to review and have a super productive zoom meeting to nail down the details. My daughter lives in NYC so holding zoom sessions was important and Chrissie Sue always showed up with a detailed agenda and answers to our endless questions. Chrissie Sue was creative with all the table designs for the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party, and the reception at the Boston Harbor Hotel. She also worked incredibly well with Amanda, the event planner at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Chrissie Sue secured contracts for all of our transportation needs (buses, trolley, Rolls Royce) and assisted with the band contract. I could go on endlessly with all that Chrissie Sue did for us but you can see how helpful she truly was to an involved planning process. On the actual weekend, Chrissie Sue was on site for all the events. She supervised all of the vendors and there were NO hiccups at all. Chrissie Sue was truly invaluable to us that weekend – we never dealt with a single issue. Chrissie Sue is a leader and that was exactly what we needed to direct the endless vendors for that weekend, ranging from the band to the florist to the photo booth, etc. She also had an incredibly detailed timeline so the weekend would flow smoothly. Finally, I will say that when she opened the doors to the ballroom for my daughter and me to see our vision finally implemented, it was incredible. Chrissie Sue brought to life my daughter’s dream wedding and for that, I will be forever grateful. Hire this woman NOW!!!

Working with Britny was better than anything I could have imagined! She swooped in to save us when another coordinator didn't work out. In the time leading up to our wedding Britny was very responsive, well organized, and kept us on track. She offered helpful suggestions along the way which saved us from stress during the wedding itself. During the wedding weekend, Britny was available for the rehearsal and all of our setup needs the day of the wedding. She somehow finds the perfect balance of stepping in and stepping back, offering advice and expertise when it's most needed, but also just getting things done that need doing. Britny perfectly understood our vision and vibe for the wedding and took care of so many of the little details so that we didn't have to worry about them. All aspects of our ceremony and reception were just how we imagined, and that could not have happened without Britny's amazing organizational skills and attention to detail.
