I’m passionate about working with diverse and interfaith couples who want their ceremonies to reflect who they are in full color. Love is not one-size-fits-all, and neither should be the moment you say “I do.” I collaborate to ensure your ceremony feels personal, flexible, and true to your hearts. Every ceremony I craft is designed to make couples feel seen, celebrated, and supported. Some include bilingual vows, English, Spanish, or Spanglish, so family feels included. I offer officiant, planning, coordination and photography services. I have over 30 years experience in the wedding industry and have been in business since 2021. I love what I do. I became ordained in 2019 because I wanted to be the one that married my sister and brother-in-law.

A Portland native, and founder of EC Matrimony, Ernie has become an expert in all things weddings. Having recently stepped away from a career in Marketing/Public Relations, Ernie has taken his business from part-time to full-time in 2021 to help more couples realize their wedding dreams. Throughout his 18 years in the industry, and having performed over 3,000 weddings, it’s easy to see why he’s been featured in bridal magazines, national IG posts, and been featured in Huffington Post twice, and on realty TV. Add to that the dozens of national awards he’s won over the years, and you can tell why he’s in demand as a wedding officiant.

Anthony is a licensed attorney who started officiating weddings in Oregon as a Judge (hence our company’s former name, The Wedding Judge). Matrimony Northwest has expanded in the 15 years since Anthony officiated his first wedding and has added two additional officiants—Emily and Henry. The three of them have officiated thousands of weddings in the Pacific Northwest in all different types of venues - back yards, courtrooms, coffee shops, beaches, mountain vistas, and more. Anthony is only the second person to have officiated a wedding in the Oregon State Capitol Building, and the only person to do so in modern times.

I can do your wedding vows in your home, my home (inside or outside), in a church, at one of our awesome NW beaches, on a mountain, at a lake, on a motorcycle, on a horse, or in a tree—if that's what you both want. I would be honored to be a part of your special day. I've been officiating for over 18 years now and have married over 1500 happy couples!
