“Seriously, you need Annie. I am such a type A person that I thought maybe I didn’t need a wedding planner, but from the first consultation with Annie we decided immediately we needed her. She added value from day one, and saved me from making a horrible venue mistake. She knows everyone, all the vendors, and who’s the best fit for you and your wedding vision. What she doesn’t know (which is rare) she figures out - for example, I had a request to have a magician, a friend cleanse the space with sage smudging, and a sound healer at our wedding, and she handled all my unique requests so well and was up for anything. She is very detail oriented and pays attention to everything- all our bills being correct, caught mistakes I made, and paid attention to all my strange requests. Most weddings are full of some strange interpersonal dynamic challenges, and Annie knew exactly how to navigate each one, paid special attention to the dynamic issues with my family and was fully ready and prepped to keep certain people happy and apart. She dealt with last minute changes seamlessly, including a no-show bridesmaid and last minute addition of a flower girl. There is no one I trusted more with my wedding (and at this point my life, I mean, can I keep her?!!) than Annie. On my wedding day and for months leading up to it I knew that whatever happened to go wrong, whatever last minute issues I would have, Annie would handle it and figure it out and I would barely know the difference. And that’s exactly how our day went. She is perfect and I can’t recommend her highly enough. Ps- mango season band was amazing too!!”

“Aloha! Eight years ago was a very special day. Our beautiful ceremony took place on Waialae Beach in Kahala. We chose the White Roses Package, which included two leis with red and white rosebuds, we stood in a heart shaped leafy ring and our wonderful singer David Asing played his ukulele serenading us with Hawaiian Wedding Song; Kuuipo. We also released beautiful white doves out into the Hawaiian sunshine. Our hair and makeup was arranged for at our hotel on the big day and, a limousine collected us also. A truly fabulous day thanks to Leah and her husband Mike, who also took our photos and videoed the ceremony. Leah lovingly came to our rescue, when we both had a slight malfunction with our dresses! “I legitimately do not even know where to begin, other than HIRE TARA IMMEDIATELY! I am probably one of the most Type A people, you will ever meet. So relinquishing control day of was extremely hard for me. However, I knew that if I actually wanted to enjoy the day, unlike many of the weddings I have been in previously, I needed a day of coordinator. I interviewed several and Tara was the ONLY one that made me feel good. She was thorough, on top of things, and, quite frankly, equally as Type A. I can honestly say we were ALWAYS on the same page. I swear every email between us started with "I was just about to ask you...". I never would have been able to relax on my day, had it not been for Tara. She took my vision and brought it to life, despite the venue not being prepared, and giving some push back. She was able to pivot flawlessly whenever there was a hurdle, and she truly delivered the dreamiest wedding for us! Never once did stress get passed down to us as the Bride and Groom. She was reassuring, confident and helpful. Honestly, the day was better than I ever could have imagined, given some of the issues we had with the venue. She was a total and complete life saver, running between the two hotels my now Husband and I were at, when we forgot things. She even brought things to our hotel rooms for us, when we had forgotten them. I got home thinking I had lost my personalized hanger, and low and behold found it neatly packed away in one of my boxes, courtesy of Tara. She controlled all of the controllables and more, and I have not heard a single negative things about the day. In fact, I have had guests ask for her number, because she was so incredible and on top of everything. The best advice I can give to any couple in need of any wedding planning/coordination services is RUN DO NOT WALK TO ELARDO EVENTS. She is quite possibly, the best!”

“My wife and I worked with Finishing Touch for our wedding in March 2024. I can't say enough great things about the quality of work and expertise Sandra and her team had from start to finish. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. “Our experience planning our destination wedding in Oahu, Hawaii with Yanicke, where we first met and fell in love, was nothing short of a fairytale. As a newly engaged couple living in New Jersey, we had been ideating on whether we should pull the trigger on organizing our wedding in Hawaii - the ultimate destination wedding location - not to mention, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Just knowing this, we assumed it would be out of our budget, especially given that we were planning a big fat Polish-Indian wedding spanning multiple days, faiths, cultures and more! We began emailing quite a few planners via The Knot and Wedding Wire just to get a feel for what we could except from planning a wedding in Hawaii in general. Beyond worrying about our budget, we were torn on whether we could logistically execute something so elaborate being so far away….until that fateful Monday morning back in 2024, when Yanicke called me out of the blue. She quickly introduced herself, mentioning how she had received our inquiry, and immediately dove into her ideas for our special day. I just loved that she took the initiative to do that, especially given the crazy, 6-hour time difference! She explained how she had worked with a venue that could double as accommodations for us and our immediate family, something we knew would be one of the best ways to actually host and easily organize the wedding weekend of both Indian and Polish wedding festivities. For us, Yanicke REALLY shined when it came to tapping her vast network of vendors and and managing our budget. She advised us on what we should prioritize and invest in, and what we could do without, while still maintaining the overall vision and vibe we wanted to create for ourselves and our guests on the the big day. She was EQUALLY impressive on both our rehearsal and wedding days. She suggested we rehearse not just the Catholic, but the and Hindu ceremony as well, which was so worth it given the many rituals and parent involvement. The timeline she had started putting together months before our wedding, plus the finalized version accounting for vendor arrivals, additional notes and moments we needed to incorporate, was exactly what we envisioned and needed the most, and everyone was locked in and delivered once the big day came. On our wedding day, Yanicke managed every vendor, navigated any delays with grace, and even helped with family drama all while keeping us perfectly on track. We felt supported, celebrated, and completely stress-free with her by our side. Yanicke is a real gem with years of wedding planning wisdom and sharp networking skills that is truly hard to come by these days. She advocates for both her clients and her network, and will make you feel like family from Day 1.”

“I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! McKenna was amazing at time management throughout the day, and she was so helpful to not only us, but our families, wedding party and guests as well. Everything went perfectly on schedule and all the crazy ideas that we had came to life with no issues! It was truly the best day of our lives and it wouldn’t have been possible without McKenna’s help!
