South Asian weddings require a lot of attention to detail, and the guest counts are often quite large, but Caroline and her team have never let us down. Their professionalism and responsiveness are like no other and our couples and their wedding guests are always in awe of the final outcome. This venue is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect setting for my wedding. I loved having the Puget Sound and Narrows Bridge in the backdrop as we said, “I do.”. Having access to the dock for golden hour photos made for some beautiful photos. The venue was a great value for everything it comes with – tables, chairs and linens that view.. it can’t be beat. It was a hot, beautiful, but hot summer day (high of 83 degrees) when I got married at the venue and it was pretty hot throughout the venue, but especially inside bridal suite and cove (where we took a lot of our bridal & family photos). There were some fans in the bridal suite, but I wish I had brought extra fans for the bridal suite because it was HOT. It would have been nice if I had a hand fan for myself during photos because it was just super warm and I had a big hot dress on. The fans inside the main area of the venue helped when you were standing near them, and having the garage doors open helped too but the venue could definitely benefit from a few more giant fans. Other than the heat, it was a great venue. If I had to do anything differently, it would just be to bring some extra fans. It was a sweaty party, but it was a fun party! The Waterfront Venue is a great venue to host your event.

I really appreciated their proactive communication & guidance. We had a great time at the Press Room! We worked with several members of the staff and all were friendly, helpful, and flexible. The space itself is beautiful and such a fun, unique venue- we hardly had to decorate at all and received so many compliments from guests. If you book the Press Room, you have to use Jonz Catering, but they were amazing also.

We can’t say enough good things about having our wedding at Orting Manor. My (now) husband and I went to tour just ONE venue and absolutely fell in love with the charm of Orting Manor. Not only were we given the option to rent the entire property, but they also had decor available to use for our big day. We felt so supported and were able to ask questions, bounce ideas off, and were given ample information leading up to the day. It’s not often you find a wedding venue that can truly do it all. In addition, Tiphany (venue manager) was a delight to work with from the first day - and we immediately knew we wanted to work with her! Breanna was our day of venue host and she was perfection and helped make the day run smooth! Our guests had the best time, and couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. It is intimate but also enough space to hold more than enough people. Orting Manor will forever hold such a place in our heart and we can’t recommend it enough.

I am so glad we decided to go with Capitol City Barn. They had everything we needed. Tables, chairs, linens, things for decor, flexibility, heaters, arch for the altar, and more. On our wedding day we had clear skies in the forecast (rare for late October) and when the thunderstorm came in right at our ceremony time, they were quick to move things around so that we could have it outside only for the rain to stop and help us move it all outside again! I would recommend them to anyone getting married!

What a fun venue! Beyond the unassuming entryway lies a flexible space that worked perfectly for our wedding. Most people I’ve told about our venue hadn’t heard of WithinSodo, and I’m surprised. It has multiple different spaces you can use (or not), a customizable vibe depending on your lighting and decor (you can hang things you can’t at other venues and have real candles), and we loved the plant-filled roof deck with a view of the Seattle skyline (and some furniture included so we saved on rentals). Compared to other venues we considered, this was much more unique, interesting, and dynamic while remaining reasonably priced. We also loved that we could do extra walk-throughs for no extra cost. Kate Anderson, our main contact, is a delight to work with—friendly, thorough, detail-oriented. Jody, the bar lead, has high standards for the WithinSodo's bar program, and even held a private cocktail tasting for us to make sure the drinks we'd selected (both boozy and nonalcoholic) were perfect before the big day.
